Meriton Old Town Garden Hotel

This is a typical 3.5 star European hotel. It is in an excellent location in the middle of the Tallinn Old Town, has comfortable but typically-smallish double rooms, wonderful breakfasts, and warm ac. I would recommend it to couples. However, we would not stay here again. Even though we booked and were fully paid more than 2 months before the hotel stay, we were told on our arrival that our room had been, "double booked". We were dispatched to a room with smaller than single beds positioned end to end in a room that resembled a school camp facility. When I suggested that this was unsatisfactory, the front desk person stated in front of other guests, "That's too bad". After walking the old town and returning, the manager had placed us in a better room for one night and we then had our pre-booked room for the next three nights. Additionally, the lift does not extend to the 4th floor so it was a struggle carrying large suitcases up stairs and across other uneven floors. Finally at check out, the receptionist insisted that our original payment was rejected by "their system" so I had to pay again. She withdrew the allegation after I showed her a stamped receipt. She then retorted, "must have been a system error". In my opinion, two different staff members could benefit from some serious service-industry professional development. However, other staff were very friendly and helpful; it was a very central location; and the breakfasts were delicious.

The location is convenient and close to the nearby sightseeing points, the breakfast was good too.

非常一般，進去了之後感覺非常不好，愛沙尼亞還是別住老城裡麪了，外面新的酒店環境好，這家店真的是。。。黴味，跟國內很晚之前那種一二百的旅館差不多。位置確實是好，周邊管理也挺好的，就是房間內部設施一般。

Esta es segunda vez que me hospedo en este hotel y cada vez me llevo una nueva experiencia. La ubicación del hotel es muy buena.

Great location, nice staff, good breakfast, but cold in room, small size of bed, and I found a few long hairs in bath towel.

It was a great location, the room was exactly what I expected. The breakfast was nice, the bed was too soft for my taste, and the room was too hot, even with the window open. All together, I was satisfied.

It is rare these days to come across staff who actually cares about Guests. Starting from emailing to the property about flight delay all the way up to check in and resolving the issue in the room, it was nothing but pleasure dealing with this members of staff who are the real assets of hospitality. Excited to find out about breakfast options) Thank you guys for providing memorable and pleasurable experience)

We booked in September way advance for November stay and paid in full, not sure why was assigned a very tiny attic room, literally had to crawl inside the room and bumped several times our heads if stood up straight, very uncomfortable stay.

The location was in the Old Town was exactly what we wanted for a 4 night stay. Room was large, bed comfortable for two, shower a nice size with amenities included. Breakfast options good and restaurant on site was excellent.
