I loved this place! Great room, great setting (I did feel a bit isolated, but if the hotel were in a more built-up area, it wouldn't be in such an idyllic setting), staff went INCREDIBLY helpful and nice (one time I broke one of their 'do not disturb' signs by accident - THEY apologised to ME, brought me a new one, and brought a plate of cakes as an apology!), great breakfast (there really is a lot - but some is hidden away in a refrigerated room which you may not notice). Speaking of the food (also excellent, by the way) - don't be put off by some more disparaging reviews on here! The food IS fresh, yes, the chicken may be more chewy than you're used to at home, not because it was hastily defrosted frozen food, but because they don't process food to the n*th degree in Thailand! Also, it IS cheap (I've included their prices for April 2024 in the photos). It may be a bit overpriced by Thai standards (you could get it half the price by spending half the day trekking into town and wasting most of the day), but you are in a resort - it's the same all the world over! Also, this place is great for wheelchairs - without the resort seeming in any way 'special' accommodation. I, myself, am a wheelchair user, but I think I was the only person there in a wheelchair - it really was a varied group (singles, young couples, young families, multi-generational families, and older couples). I was really impressed by how comprehensive the access was, without it standing out much - I had a massive room, grab rails around the toilet, wheel-in shower with a built-in stone bench with more grab rails, everywhere had ramps, there was both a slope in to the pool and a pool hoist, another disabled toilet by the pool, the pool-side shower even had a fixed seat, there were sunloungers reserved for those in wheelchairs, and a slope to the beach!
