The apar**ent we stayed in was the one bedroom. Old but still amazing and price was good. We had everything needed, washing machine and heaps of powder, kitchen well serviced, fresh water. Huge one bedroom apar**ent and right on the beach. Best part of beach in Rarotonga. Do not expect new apar**ent, but more a great little beach hut style. Full cooking available, plus canoes, bbq and the shower is to die for, amazingly hot strong flow. Stuart was great help and attended to all our inquiries.

We stayed in the two bedroom self catering bach. The kitchen was well equipped with a new gas stove recently installed. Bbq available on the deck. The dining/ lounge/deck area are totally open and even with drop down blinds can be chilly on a windy day - just something to be aware of in the cooler months. The second bedroom is not connected to the main living area. It's accessed by external stairs and through the car port. Great for friends or families with older children (teenagers). I wouldn't want to have young ones staying down there on their own. Snorkelling in front of the bach is great. Restaurants and shops within walking distance. Unfortunately, the safe wasn't working when we got there. Stuart came and showed us how to reset but we couldn't repeat the process. There had been opportunity thefts in the area so we made sure we locked up when we left the property

Finding a 5-bedroom home available in the July school holidays was not easy and we were very fortunate that Villa Henry was free for our 10 days stay in July 2023. Stuart was fantastic to deal with and the home was perfect for our group of 9 with independent bedrooms for all. The house proved perfect for our needs. Located right on the beach and with canoes, a paddle board/surfboard, and all the snorkeling gear provided, we were able to enjoy the very best of what Rarotonga has to offer. Like one other couple, we had the misfortune to have money stolen from wallets but luckily, not passports, credit cards, etc. That, however, is not in any way the fault of the owners and not something which should affect this or any other review of the property. We are very grateful indeed to Stuart and his Whanau for a wonderful experience and would love to visit again. The property represents fantastic value for money and we highly recommend it to thgose withg large fanily groups.

Average stay - Stayed at the ‘Henry Villa’ for one week. Unfortunately on our second night we got robbed, they came into the house while we were sleeping. Cash, spirits, jewellery and other goods were taken. When we called the police to report it they informed us that this property is known for break ins. Not a nice feeling at all when we had a 6 months old baby with us. It it listed that the villa has a safe - it did not. Not until after we were robbed we demanded that the owners come and install one. Security cameras - no security cameras. 24/7 security surveillance - they stopped paying for the surveillance during the pandemic. The only thing that saves this place is the good swimming and snorkelling right outside the property, and a well equiped kitchen. This was my third time to Rarotonga and if I return I will most definitely be staying at a resort due to security reasons.
