The Green Man Boutique Hotel

I didn’t think places like this still traded. Arrived at agreed time, place deserted and locked up. Another guest arrived at same time. Finally found sign to “boutique hotel” up a dimly lit stair. Entrance uninspiring, rooms had keysafe, but notice said code would be emailed to me ( it wasn’t). Managed to decipher codes, got into a small cluttered room with terrible loo. It’s not dirty (being kind). No food available, and breakfast had to be pre ordered, Who knew that?? So no comments on food. WiFi didn’t work! Bed ok, The shower screen was a death trap, collapsed causing very minor injury. Nice soap dispensers, which were empty. For goodness’s sake, get your act together! “Boutique hotel” it isn’t.

Awesome value…. I paid £40 for a very clean double room, great shower, tea coffee. Central heating obviously not working but the venue supplied a great electric alternative which done the job (already set up in the room). If you want luxury then pay the luxury prices. Will definitely stay again when in the area. Thank you.

Ok when you book make sure you put your email in as they will send a code so you can check yourself in we didn’t so never got our code arrived at 3 as this was check in time no body there pub closed had to wait till 5.15 someone arrived and gave us the key !! Room was lovely nice decor but bathroom wasn’t the cleanest .. kettle kept tripping whilst boiling radiator didn’t work so had a plug in blow heater hot water in shower in evening but in the morning was freezing so couldn’t shower .. pub was nice .. for the price it was ok I would stay again if in the area

This place a great value Me and my friend were waiting on a flight for the night and this place was comfortable and only cost €20 each One person would pay double that for a dorm bed in a hostel in London People complaining here need to get a grip on themselves

Ok, so its not the Ritz! But... if you just need a place to rest your head before or after the airport - and don't want to fund mass corporation hotels, then this is your stop. Its cute, coy, right by the airport. We had a lovely twin room, with an atic bathroom and bathtub. Clean sheets and towels, access via a code, and safe parking round the back. The pub was closed, which was disappointing, but, if it was open, that's a great spot to get some grub and a drink. We drove to the maple carpark which took 8 mintues, and to the terminal its a short taxi ride. Yes, at close inspection this place could do with a little TLC, but on the whole, its a great spot.

Room number 3 was a lovely boutique room.. the heating was on when arrived,, which was really welcoming.. there's a bar& restaurant on site and the bed was probably one of the most cosiest Unfortunately the reason why I had to leave a 1 star was because when trying to get an early check in,, in the middle of no where, without anywhere else to wait, the owners didn't get back to you until 2pm,, the shower hasn't been cleaned from the previous person.. the owner let us know of another room.. that one has blood in it,,most of the rooms the furniture been broken,, most the electricity was broken, it's not safe to rent out and when went to get a feeling for the place down stairs,, everything was locked up,, lights and music were on but no one around,, the music was left on all night fire 🔥 risk and most of the room doors were a job to get in,, locked themselves,, worrying when trying to get out,, was a struggle,, don't think the place is manned through the night,, thought the landlord was spotted but then went to find out what was going on from the experience here the car had gone,, all the kettles needed de scaling.. couldn't have a cuppa and the light in the hallway kept going off,, when your in the hallway in the pitch black in the dark next to mirrors its terrifying.. check out was 10am.. no one was around but the lights were still on,, it is 15th century probably *******,, never stayed in anywhere so old,, it's so sad that everyone seems to of cut and run very eiery..not suitable for young vulnerable single people normally children
