Fasthotel Reims-Taissy

I stayed in this establishment so many times apart from the smoking policy, and never had any problems; Wednesday the 21st Dec left the UK, as usual, to go from Folkestone to Calais with a view of arriving at 11 o'clock French time, unfortunately, due to a considerable hold-up within the crossing we arrived at 1:30 am, we had a reference number we had a booking reference number, and we had a receipt of payment through a booking company the self-service computer was so slow and so out of date with technical problems that it wouldn't allocate us a room even though we had paid, nobody to contact nobody to speak to now stuck in the middle of Reims with no hotel nowhere to go and too late to booking anywhere else. Despite numerous attempts at contacting people, this fell on deaf ears and to no avail. Fortunately, having a large car and only two of us, we were able to drive to the layby on the French motorway, where there are toilet facilities. Where we were then able to leave the engine running and put the seats back, and get some sleep for an hour or two before making our journey. Making telephone calls the following day with no success, we have just received notification that the company has completely agreed that we were booked in. There was a reservation, and that they are sorry that the Hotel facility had wrongly allocated our booking, but as a cancellation, you can have your money back. It wasn't about the money; it was about our safety, leaving us in the middle of a town with no way to rest or have safety except staying in a locked car. The hotel have refused to comment and still will not take ownership of the responsibility, I said at from the beginning this has been a very good hotel and stopping-off facilities. Basic, but clean and quiet. Good overnight accommodation with excellent access to motorways and major main roads. Friendly staff and an on-site restaurant. Air conditioning has been recently installed which will be a great summer improvement.

Petite chambre mais agréable et surtout propre le personnel à l accueil rien à dire agréables et souriantes petit déjeuner impeccable il y a du choix pain au maïs très bon. Parking ou certains avec des porches prennent 2 places mais sinon hôtel agréable et très propre
