The Ronchamp Villa is located in a quiet alley next to the Anping Castle. It is a two-story bungalow with a front yard and a backyard. This was a standout in the Anping area where Fujian-style bungalows were common at the time. The Western-style houses are really amazing. There is an endless stream of people stopping to watch, and it has become a good story! The Ronchamp Villa is named in tribute to the La Chapelle de Ronchamp completed by French architect Le Corbusier in 1954. Its architectural form and distinctive features make us think about how this design trend affected the land of Taiwan. From 1954 to 1964, 10 years of design pulse from Europe to Taiwan. The old bungalows witnessed the development trajectory of society and recorded the appearance of the times, leaving Anping with cultural treasures worth preserving. The old bungalow that has been standing in Anping for 60 years has inevitably left its traces over time, but it still has its own characteristics and is still eye-catching and makes people stare unconsciously.
