I was at a congress, I slept there for one night for 40 thousand HUF. I had to leave the room by 10am the next day. I come out of the bathroom at 8 in my underwear, when I see workers on my balcony packing chairs and scaffolding. I ask them, what is this? They've been rented this, they say. I go down to the reception, I ask them what are they thinking? They apologise, but they say the room is booked until 10am, there's nothing they can do. I say, I'll move out right now, while I'm coming down, guess what they're compensating me with, it's only a four star hotel. I come down and ask them if they have guessed? What do I think, they asked. I said it's not my job to guess. Well, they don't know. So I had to leave, an hour and a half before I wanted to. (Sept 3/4, room 104). Kongresszuson voltam, egy éjszakát aludtam ott 40 ezerért. Másnap 10-ig kellett volna elhagynom a szobát. 8-kor jövök ki a fürdőszobából egy szál gatyában, mikor látom, hogy az erkélyemen munkások pakolják a székeket és állványoznak. Kérdem tőlük, mi ez? Nekik ez lett kiadva, mondják. Megyek le a recepcióra, kérdem, hogy képzelik? Elnézést kérnek, de ők mondták, hogy 10-ig foglalt a szoba, nem tudnak mit tenni. Mondom, akkor én most azonnal kiköltözöm, amíg lejövök, találják ki mivel kompenzálnak, mégis csak egy négycsillagos szálloda. Lejövök, kérdem kitalálták-e? Mire gondolok, kérdezték. Mondom nem az én dolgom kitalálni. Hát ők nem tudják. Úgyhogy el kellett jönnöm, másfél órával azelőtt, mint ahogy szerettem volna. (Szeptember 3/4, 104. szoba)

I’m traveling for work and my agency booked me here. It’s one of the worst stays I’ve ever had. My room 115 on the first floor is really cold. There’s no heaters in the room. There’s an AC but it’s not working, there’s no way to switch it on from the room. I asked reception to switch it on for me and they did. It is very loud and there’s little warm air. I asked them to leave it on while I was away, so I’d get back to a warmer room but when I came back the AC was off and the room cold as ever. It is much warmer in the corridor than in the room. The towel rack in the bathroom also not working. I asked the reception again to switch it on but they said something was stuck in it and it was impossible to switch it on. At this point I would expect them to offer me another room, or a portable heater, or at least, an apology, but none of these were offered. In the end I myself asked for another room and was given a key for the room 116 (again, not even a suggestion to come and help me move my things), but room 116 is even colder than mine. So in the end, I’m sleeping with my winter coat over my bed. Breakfast: poor choice. Scrambled eggs were stale, as if they sat there from yesterday. Spa: only open 4pm-8pm. Packed with people. Stains of dirt and rust in the pool. No soap in the showers in the spa. No hairdryer in the showers in the spa. Bathrobe and slippers not provided but you can buy slippers in the spa. Worst of all, the personnel. Not one smile I got here. I feel very unwelcome and unhappy. This is not a 4 star hotel.

Hotel molto bello e curato, camere spaziose e una discreta spa. Ottimo ristorante. Decisamente sopra la media ungherese. Staff gentile e disponibile. A pochi passi dal centro della città . Letti comodi e stanze ben insonorizzate. Colazione completa e con ampia scelta. Parcheggio interno.
