Rothman Manor

Having previously driven to Knysna and found the trip monotonous and tiring we were delighted to have a stop over here this time around. Although the property is breakfast only there is a great Italian restaurant next door that also provide take aways to eat on the terrace. Stayed in XL room which had all you could need for a great stay including cooking facilities. The team were excellent including the guy that cleans everyone’s cars in the morning

I was looking forward to our second stay and we were not disappointed. Everything (and I really mean everything) was perfect and we are already planing opur next trip.

Our stay in Rothman Manor was wonderful. The staff were extremely welcoming and helpful.Our room was comfortable and they had added many little touches which impressed. They had thought of everything. We had a lovely view over the pool. Watching the Zebra and bok on the land was special. The breakfast was fabulous offering a full continental spread and great hot breakfast options. Couldn't ask for more! Highly recommended.

We were met at the car park by Melanie and taken to the wow room on the top floor- it was called the xl suite. Mini kitchen was really handy. Absolutely amazing gardens. Yes the Zebra and Sprinkbok are really there. Nice swimming pool. Easy 4 min drive to mall and centre. Breakfast was really nice. Plenty of choice. Car parking was great - and the car was cleaned whilst in the slot. Why the 4/5 !? We had to take our cases up a flight of outside wooden stairs in the hot sun - yes our fault, we packed them but coming from Europe there were coats etc and each were at 20kg - and yes, our own fault we needed the cases upstairs. Just thought some assistance may have been offered. Although we were extremely grateful to the maintenance guy who came over straight away when we tried to leave with them and he helped pack them into our car. A few bits of tlc is needed. The carpet by the side of the bed is badly torn. Shower door wonky

Hello Simone Rothman Manor is like Paradise on Earth and we enjoyed it as one of the best Hotels on our Trip through SA!Thanks again for your Help with the left items that you send us to Cape Town.We will com back on our next Trip to 🇿🇦👍 And the Car wash was an excellent Idea 😉🙏

In summary : Good points Our suite and bathroom were spacious with good outdoor furniture The outdoor breakfast area is really nice So is the garden Secured parking (car wash a bonus) Friendly staff Not so good The noise of the N2 can be bothersome Though there is a array of choice at breakfast, I thought it was more quantity than quality
