Swakopmund Luxury Suites

This is the place to stay in Swakopmund. Perfect location, excellent modern rooms, very friendly and helpful staff, great breakfast. For lunch or dinner, there are a number of restaurants next door or just a few minutes away, within walking distance. I should mention Nelly who works at reception - this lady is a real asset to the company and goes out of her way to assist guests.

We spent 2 nights in Swakopmund & chose to stay at the this hotel because we felt it offered a good balance of price, location & quality. All in all we were very pleased with our stay and felt the hotel met all of these expectations. The rooms are clean, modern, light & airy and the bed one of the most comfortable we slept in during our trip. The bathroom is open to the rest of the room which didn't bother us being a married couple, but for people sharing a room as friends, it is just something to bear in mind. Swakopmund was surprisingly chilly during August being winter especially at night (it reminds us of a British summer lol!), so we were pleased to find that the AC can be used to heat the room as well, which came in handy in the evenings & early mornings. In terms of location, the hotel is great as there is parking outside with security to keep an eye on your car, the lighthouse & museum across the road and you are just a couple of mins walk in the other direction to the shops, cafes and restaurants. There is a great bar next door, one side of the hotel and a lovely Italian restaurant / pizzeria on the other side, so it was a good spot for dining too! The included breakfast was also great with a selection of toasts, fruits, cakes, juices etc as well as the option for cooked eggs, full English etc. The staff were all lovely & very helpful and we would gladly stay again & recommend the place to others!

We spent two nights at this hotel on a small group tour of Namibia which was ten days long. The hotel rooms are quite large with a sitting area and desk. The bathroom has a separate tub bath from the shower. Laundry service is very prompt and reasonably priced. Soft terry cloth robes are available in the room. Many desert activities can be scheduled thru their front reception desk. The location is convenient near downtown area with shops, restaurants, and bars. Breakfast was great with the right selection of food options. Highly recommend!!

Beautiful modern suites in the centre of Swakopmund, ideally located for everything. The room was incredible - clean, spacious and really well appointed and equipped, including tea and coffee with rusks. An amazing breakfast with a fantastic range of choices. Extremely comfortable bed. Really helpful staff. Cannot fault it.

Large comfortable room downstairs (No. 14) no balcony but lovely courtyard. Efficient, friendly check-in; helpful tips regarding restaurants and tourist sights; good location with close proximity to beach, restaurants and museum. Ample parking in the area. Very good pizzeria next door. Enjoyable stay.

Fantastic hotel in superb location, smack in the middle of town. Excellent breakfast served. Moderately prices. Beachtowels on request. Interior design and quality of beds perfect. Staff very helpful and nice. Highly recommended. We will come back!
