The owners of the property was welcoming when we arrived, but the room was a whole other story. It was definitely a heavily smoked in room even though it is stated as nonsmoking, the sheets were torn and had burn holes in them, the comforters also were covered in burn holes. The carpet in the room was so covered in stains and burn holes that I would not step on them without shoes on. The bathroom tap leaked and when you turned on the hot water the water poured out you had to have a rag on the counter. Location was good and parking lot and area outside was very clean.

There is bed bugs one the room I complained to the stuff and I been told go back to your country than I replied back in the same way I’m Canadian citizen this is my contry I said I left the room to go outside I got locked out asked 4 the other key than I got offended all kind of things this which I had to reply back one the same way

We have stayed multiple times at this place and it has been adequate. The place is very old and no Reno’s have been made. Upon entering was immediately hit by the bad odour. Taking a shower I wasn’t sure wether I was clean or dirty when I got out. The bathtub was disgusting and needed to replaced. When we got back to our room we were greeted by a mouse that quickly vacated under the locked door where the kitchenettes are. We had asked for a late checkout but were called at 10:30 the next morning with “checkout is 11:00”. Paid just under $200.00 for one night you would think they could do some Reno’s charging that much for what it is. Never going back never recommending.

This was a basic budget old motel. For my one-night, short stay it was adequate. It was located on main street and allowing early checking in.

Kitchen was locked extra money to open. No baseboards. Cobwebs, AC had electrical tape to keep closed. Sat on the side of the bed and fell off because the mattress flipped. I’m only 150 lbs. The owners were rude. Wouldn’t not recommend this for anyone

good: Staff is friendy and competent, Parking properly and close to rooms.
I am disappointed due to: shower was not working. Water just in bathtube available.
disappointed du to payment conditions: my credit card was charged with a pledge ($ 200). It should be refunded. But now, after a week, no refund made.

Don’t book here , pay for cancellation insurance . I used the filters to make sure it was pet friendly and when I drove 4 hours from Kamloops they turned me away since it wasn’t pet friendly but on the app it said it was . They charged over $350 for the lowest star rating hotel I’ve ever seen . Wouldn’t give me my money back . Not good customer service . Very old building and no restaurants .

Stains on the rug, toe nail clippings on the rug that wasn't from us, broken glass along the walls in rug
No mini fridge, no coffee pot in room, a/c didn't work properly, pool of water formed infront of bathroom from another room
Staff was very inconsiderate and rude
Had to get ice from neighboring hotel 100 metres away
If it wasn't Canada Day weekend no refund policy and other hotels weren't booked up I would of switch hotels
DONT NOT STAY AT LINDA VISTA HOTEL
