Dit Majestic Beach Resort

It was a beautiful experience, the hotel is the best European hotel we’ve stayed in and I would actually compare it to some of the Mexican / Caribbean hotels we’ve stayed in in a smaller scale. Things we didn’t like that the hotel needs to improve on; the woman in the bakery rolled her eyes at me when I asked for some eclairs. Didn’t even try to hide it. Just so rude! There aren’t enough cushions for all sun loungers. Although I can say, you absolutely will get one. Room cleaning is every other day unless requested. We had to go and ask at reception for toilet paper. Other than the little niggles this was an all round amazing experience and I do recommend.

A fully majestic experience. One of the best hotels that I've been. Everything from food to rooms, bars and cleaning was absolutely amazing.

In the hotel currently if your English stay away your be treated like peasants i have a 7 minute video of my daughter being ignored while they drink and serve the germans that arrive after, they don't clean the rooms properly because there are beetles walking around and so far there has been a large dead moth in my room in the same place for 3 days (just waiting to see when it will be removed) there is mould in the bathrooms. Food is inedible see pictures. We are a well travelled family and highly do NOT recommend this rudely staffed hotel, Not looking forward to the remaining days we are here

The hotel is not very bad but some managers are so rude with a low customer service attitude. The worst thing is there are peoples that reserve the seats around the pool, go to the beach and come back in the afternoon so noone can use that seat for 6 hours and the staff don’t even care to remove the towels there are only sign to don’t reserve the seats but they don’t act, same for the beach.

Only negative observations - Late check out due to night flight, charged £82 to retain room until 6pm, instead of 11am. The "all inclusive plus" branded drinks are almost non existent of names any British person would know of, except for Beefeater Gin, the Beer is bland and the 3 wines are not pleasant and very acidic. Avoid the one evening Italian restaurant option included in the deal - the food was awful - veal was tough as leather, fried potatoes, veg and the lemon chicken main courses all stone cold. Despite signs everywhere forbidding reserving sun beds with towels, guests swarm down between 7.30 and 8am and do just that. Staff do not remove these towels as stated on the signs, and many guests dont even come to the beds until the afternoon. Luckily there are about 600 beds on the poolside and beach Plus side - superb location, spotlessly clean and modern, all staff very helpful and hardworking

Travelling as a family of 5 to Sunny beach for the first time I will be honest I was a little bit apprehensive of what we were gonna find after reading some below average reviews. What we found when we got there and you’re in our whole stay, we genuinely couldn’t have been happier. From when we were dropped off, we were met by the concierge of the hotel who loaded our bags up onto a trolley and I have to check and took them to our room for us. Hotel is immaculately clean and as mentioned in previous reviews the rooms although maybe slightly dated were also impeccably cleaned every day if requested. The pool area is fantastic with two huge pools. One seems to be used for families and smaller children and the other used for teenagers and families. The grounds of the hotel are extremely well kept and we were extremely happy with our choice of staying at this hotel. I was concerned as travelling with two fussy eaters of the standard of food that we might receive but could not fault the variety available to us. Plenty of selection for breakfast lunch and evening meal and the snack bar was also a godsend for ice cream during the day. The area itself was also very nice although the section of the beach that was in front of the hotel was very clean. The sea did have some green algae as you entered the water but the further out you went the less there was. The land train passes by the front of the hotel every 15 to 20 minutes that takes you right down to flower Street at a cost of about £2.80 per person. We took the boat across to Nessebar on one of our days and spent the day there which was beautiful and the boat cost us about £8.80 per person one way and we caught the bus back to Sunny Beach at the end of the day which cost us about 88p for the return. Plenty of good bars, takeaways and restaurants on the strip outside the hotel. Mini golf was also a hit in the evening after the Sun gone down. If you are undecided about whether to book this hotel, I would highly recommend it Great service from the staff in the bars the restaurants and around the pool and the animation team did a great job too. All round a fantastic stay at Majestic and we definitely would stay again !!
