So conflicted about this hotel. It has such potential but let's itself down at every turn. Having said that, you can't blame it for the guests it seems to attract. For example, it's 07:15 and there's some seriously competitive towel placing going on. Pathetic. Plates piled high with food left on tables barely touched. Disgusting. Wine glasses left behind the water slides in the kids play area. Incomprehensible. Despite the investment by Dit in a rather fun looking water park, ice cream fridges and a snack bar, parents would rather shatter the peace of the quiet pool by letting their little darlings squabble, shriek and completely invade the privacy of everybody else. So, we arrived shortly after midnight and were checked into Block D, premium rooms fairly quickly which was a free upgrade. Sadly the reception staff were not very accurate when directing us to the room. Forget about concierge services, there are none. They were not very forthcoming about how free upgrades work. You might well be on the Premium block but unless you paid for the gold wristband, you will get asked to leave the Premium pool or Premium restaurant. A quick heads up, Tui charge £120 per person, per week. We paid the hotel direct and got Premium for £10 a day! By the time we got in the room I was utterly exhausted. There was a restaurant "open" but just salami, fruit and cakes. We had an issue with power in the room and reported it to reception. In fairness, the electrician was in attendance within minutes to successfully resolve. The beds are tiny and extremely low but are relatively comfortable. They seem to have bought quilts too small to tuck in though. This Premium room had just been refurbished but had a magnolia overload. Well equipped with fridge, nice TV, kettle and coffee machine. No milk, no bottle of water. Poor lighting, decent aircon. The balcony is the smallest I have ever seen. If there had been glass going to the bottom I wouldn't have been able to sit down. It is no more than 600mm deep. The beige and brown bathroom was average. Decent walk in shower which had a poorly arranged curtain that let water flow freely across the floor. Several toiletries, poor mirrors but again, the lighting could be better. Good hairdryer. Reasonable hanging space in the wardrobe but lack of drawers for me. No iron or board. Exhausted or not, I had a terrific night's sleep. It is very quiet here at night to be fair. The pools are unheated so quite refreshing. Sadly there is literally no escape from shrieking kids anywhere in this hotel. An adult only pool would be the best thing Dit ever did by a country mile. Another example of dreadful customer service if I may. To change a pool towel, you have to be at the towel hut between 16:00 and 17:00. We were there at 16:55 and despite having in the region of 1000 towels, the guy only had 1 that didn't have string tieing it in a bundle, but wouldn't cut the string to let me have the 2nd clean one. The towel situation i
