Residence le Primule

We stayed in Verbena, a 2 BR 2 bathroom apartment on the top floor of the complex at the end of the row of apartments. Whilst not needed for us, the 2nd bathroom was suitable for a handicapped person and from the car park to the apartment was flat ground, so wheelchair friendly. Giuliano, the resident caretaker was pro-active and very kind, nothing was too much trouble. The apartment was very clean with enough equipment to eat at home although there is no oven, just 4 hot plates and a microwave. Excellent air conditioning in the living area and both bedrooms. The view from the terrace was amazing, even seated, the parapet is low enough for a generous view over the Lake. The walk into town is via a series of steps and path, walking a short way on the road, but it felt safe and it was not a difficult climb coming back. We are in our 70's, fit and it wasn't a problem. Being up higher means a great view. Stresa has great access by ferry to many attractions on the Lake, which is not the case from pretty towns like Cannobio and Cannero.
