The Three Cups Inn

We just had Sunday lunch at The Three Cups and I had the most of wonderful Nut Roast Sunday lunch. My partner had the Beef which he said was very good too. Great venue, fantastic service. Thank you. The pub is very old and one part of it has very low ceilings so he prepared to duck your head as you walk through! I personally don't drink but my partner had half a pint if Flower Pot ale which he said was very good. Desserts looked good but we were full up!

Called in for lunch what a lovely old place, was able to sit in the back area outside really nice, the service was excellent and on ordering food it was prepared and brought out and served with a smile and politely. the Moules were excellent and venison lasagne was also very good.Very well priced for a lunch. All in all a wonderful place.

Great bedroom and bathroom, with special additional touches, which gave a homely feel. The room was on the front of the building and above the restaurant but there were no disturbances'. Good parking at the rear of the property. No charge. Well kept large garden. Dinner was delicious and the service exceptional. Cooked to order breakfast. Buffets are not for me! Great location for Salisbury and Winchester, but don't miss out by not taking a wander around Stockbridge, before you leave. A truly delightful stay. Thank you

Lovely quirky, immaculately clean and comfy room with many lovely personal touches. All staff were very welcoming and friendly and dog friendly too. Breakfast had plenty of choice and was delicious ( best mushrooms ever). A lovely stay thanks

Lovely family lunch. All of our food was delicious. Local trout. Great sausage and mash, burgers and fish and chips. Nice local beers. Friendly staff, amazing old building. Just what we needed. Thanks

I've eaten this pub before when in Stockbridge but my latest visit was disappointing. Firstly, let me say, the pub has a really wonderful atmosphere and the staff are friendly and helpful and I'd actually recommend for a drinks only evening. The food however, really didn't impress. It's a very basic pub menu, which is fine but if you offer basic fare, it needs to be good quality and well cooked if you're charging restaurant prices. 3 anaemic, small, poor quality sausages on a bed of (ungarlicky) garlic mask and a bit of uncooked kale, doesn't hit the mark. When the waitress asked how it was, I commented that the kale wasn't cooked (I'm not someone who usually complains) My plate was removed and returned 60 seconds later with the kale still uncooked (couldn't be bothered to ask again). My friends were equally disappointed with their meals. 3 basic mains, 2 (admittedly good) puddings and 2 drinks each for £120 didn't feel like money well spent. I want to give this pub another chance because of the atmosphere but unsure...
