A really great early Mother’s Day lunch at Ellis’ Restaurant, we come often & always love it. We treated Mum to a massage and facial, they use Elemis in the spa & the facilities are very clean and luxurious. We always come away feeling very well looked after. Thanks everyone at Greenwoods!

We attended Greenwoods spa for an afternoon Tea which was a wedding gift. The afternoon tea itself was absolutely delicious and would definitely recommend their food. However, service on the day wasn't fantastic. Trying to catch the attention of passing staff was difficult and we seemed to be one of the only tables they didn't come and see if we were ok despite only have 3/4 tables occupied. Even tried to grab them as they attended the table next to us but they didn't look round / hear us. Eventually managed to order a couple of extra drinks. Glass of wine came in a really dirty glass, surprised this wasn't seen by the bartender but it happens and understand that. I took the wine back to the bar and asked for it to be changed which they agreed to immediately. He apologised for the dirty glass and then checked the next one was clean which it was. He then picked up the original wine and was literally about to pour from the dirty glass into the clean but paused and looked up and me and said "oh sorry would you prefer a fresh one" to which of course my answer was "yes please" They gave me another glass of wine with no issue whatsoever but the fact they even considered pouring it from o glass to another is concerning and without a doubt would have happened had I not been standing there. Maybe it was because it wasn't busy and therefore less staff around but would give it another go for sure because the food is worth it.

A group of 12 of us women’s institute members from Stock had a very enjoyable afternoon tea at Greenwoods. We booked the private room which was beautifully decorated and full of character features. It led onto the patio so we were able to open the doors on the lovely sunny afternoon. The sandwiches, scones and cakes were all freshly made and delicious. The banana eclair was especially good. The staff were very attentive and made sure we had everything we needed and that our cups and pots were replenished when needed. We spent a nice couple of leisurely hours enjoying the experience and were not hurried along at all. We were given boxes to take home what we couldn’t manage as we were given plenty to eat. We then enjoyed a leisurely walk around the stunning gardens before heading home. All in all a lovely afternoon and one we will definitely repeat in the future. Just can’t stay away ! Six months past and another visit to Greenwood’s Stock. An exceptional place a wonderful warm pool where you can swim and chill , a gym with all the modern day requirements and if like me you can visit regularly with easy access. I stayed room 40 this time with large bath which also has a TV viewable whilst soaking. The place itself has a large car park , friendly courteous staff and provide excellent service. The experience as with previous visits excellent great value for money

Greenwoods Hotel & Spa is a true gem. The immaculately kept grounds create a stunning, peaceful setting, and the bar area is perfect for a relaxed afternoon. My room was incredibly comfortable, with a bed that guaranteed a great night’s sleep. Each morning, I made the most of the gym and spa before enjoying a 10/10 breakfast. The facilities are excellent, and the staff are friendly, attentive, and go above and beyond to make your stay special. A luxurious and relaxing experience—I can’t wait to return!

We had a family get-together - 12 adults and three children - to celebrate an 80th birthday at Greenwoods and I'm pleased to say it more than lived up to our expectations. The guest rooms were all comfortable and we had an excellent celebratory meal, the highlight of which was some delicious roast lamb, in the Library Suite. The suite was ours for five hours, so we were even able to let our hair down with a karaoke machine after the food and wine ... All that plus access to the extensive grounds and use of the spa and pool for the grown-ups made for a memorable weekend
