Hotel Spekerod

Have been traveling through Europe and should spend the night and travel on the following morning. when we approached and needed to find login information and there was nothing sent to us. No SMS and no email. We called the hotel and said we have not received any information. The man said "Yes you have!". We was surprised by the man's language, since we had checked several times and there were no messages from the hotel. Not even in junk mail. He said, somewhat reluctantly, that he would resend the information, and it would take 30 sec. Since we still did not receive any messages from the hotel, we called again. There was then half an hour until the reception was supposed to close. Instead of helping us enter the code to enter the room that we had already paid for, he doesn't pick up the phone. He would also send us the information on the phone we called him. As this is at 00:30 at night, it is not easy to find any available hotel. Finally we meet a nice man at the reception at the Thon Hotel Halden in Norway who arranges accommodation for us, a extra drive of almost two hours. The next day we talk to the man at Spekerod and we are very suprised that he is rude and arrogant towards us. He takes no criticism that there were problems with the system, and will not admit that he could have fixed this the night before. We can't recommend anyone to use this hotel. Stay away!

Had to stand in the rain to get thru the front door so a small portico would help also where to park is not clear so we used the Burger King spaces as none were marked for hotel guests. Otherwise the room was fine and very quiet and breakfast was also quite good at Expresso house next door. Overall I like the concept but you need to be able to contact someone at all times so a contact number in room would help.

This hotel is located on the highway, as part of a petrol station. Other facilities include a Burger King restaurant as well as a Subway restaurant, a local coffee house and a gas station. The hotel is fully automatic so we did not interact with any staff. Breakfast was way below the average for Sweden.

Clean, big room. A little expensive, when all you get for breakfast is a 90 SEK voucher for Espresso house. Could not open the windows either, but the air condition was good and it was easy to change the temperature.

A functional hotel near the highway. The service is basic in the sense that there isn't any. Everything is with codes. But the hotel is surprisingly beautiful, practical, clean, and well organized. Perfect for a relaxing night on the way between Göteborg and Oslo.

Nobody and so no service at all. Avoid clearly this financial concept. For the breakfast, it is at the shop on the side. The girls wear headphone. No contact, no relation possible. You have no choice. Forget it. Really avoid this kind of hotel for you and for the next generation. The price is far too much for this.

C'est un hôtel parfait si vous avez besoin de faire une étape entre Goteborg et Oslo, et si vous cherchez un hôtel ou vous pouvez arriver a n'importe quelle heure. En effet, il n'y a pas de personnel, on reçoit les codes pour entrer par SMS. Tout a bien fonctionné, c'était parfait. La chambre est très confortable et très propre, avec climatisation et une excellente douche. Le petit déjeuner est à prendre au café juste a côté. Par contre, le tarif de l'ensemble est quand même un peu élevé.
