Sweet Darling House: Enchanting historic home; walkable to downtown

Charming, Peaceful Pause This is a wonderful place for a mini-vacation. The house is tastefully decorated and well appointed. The sounds of birds, crickets, and katydids provide a soothing soundscape for the surrounding wooded setting. All of this easy walking distance to downtown. Overall, a highly enjoyable and relaxing stay.

True to the listing and walkable to town. The hosts have thought of everything and the ‘extras’ made the stay even more quaint! Would absolutely stay again!

70th birthday! It was perfect! location was great and the house was ideal

Perfect for a weekend away Small, charming, old house tastefully updated and decorated, located in a bucolic setting yet close to town. Much thought has been given to amenities and supplies needed by guests during their short stay; we lacked for nothing. It has its own parking space, a front porch with a swing for 2 and a back porch with seating for six or so, overlooking woods where deer were roaming. Good restaurants and a fantastic bakery are close by, in town. It was just perfect for a get-away!

Super cute! Cute place, and Annie was great to work with. Only disappointed that our stay was cut short by a pet emergency back home. But would definitely book again if visiting Staunton or the surrounding area.
