If you prefer a sandy beach for the little ones, there is a public beach about 200 yards away that you can walk or bike to. The common amenities available to all guests include pickleball, basketball & volleyball court, playground with grassy area, picnic tables, bonfire pit and fish cleaning house. Oh, and the custom log bar in the basement, well there is not better place to soak in the Northwood's while indoors with great views of the lake. You do have to go under the bridge to get to Round Lake, which can be a tight fit, but not far at all. We have a newer 22' pontoon boat that is available for rent as well. If the water is really high, there is a chance you might not fit, but this has not happened to us over the last 5 years.Off the water, there is a winery and casino (age 18+) within 5 miles. There is also mini golf, go carts, log rolling and much, much more to explore!We also have 3 kayaks (1 is a double person) and a paddle boat that are included with your rental. And again, we have to mention that we have a brand new pontoon also available for an additional charge. Two docks and canoe for your use. Our lake frontage is not suitable for swimming but you can take the canoe out or just enjoy the lake views and songs of the red-winged blackbirds.
