A charming renovated cottage by the Lake Tohmajärvi. The closest neighbour cottage is not be seen from the yard in the summertime. The yard is spacious and even. The lakeside is kid-friendly. In the neighbour (1 km from the cottage) there is a horse-riding venue where you can ride and within a 10 km radius a couple of farm stores that can be visited by agreement, get to know the place and buy local products. There are summer cafés and second hand shops in the nearby villages, where you can enjoy homemade pastries and genuine local flavors. Just 10 km away there is a small private golf course where you can play golf without the green card. Owner rents wireless Internet for 1 e/day. Rainbow trout has even been stocked in the lake. 39 km to the southeast of Joensuu, Lake Särkijärvi 5 m (10.75 km²), sandy beach that starts shallow and deepens 2 m from the shore; at the end of the pier, the depth is approximately 1.5 m.
