The Ark Stanley Luxury Bed and Breakfast

My wife and I stayed the one night after arriving late in the afternoon. We had the Admiral room at the front of the house. The bed was so comfortable and had the best pillows. Room was quite large and airy and the en-suite had just been renovated (by the looks). The house is in walking distance of the town centre. The hosts are lovely people very friendly who came and did a cooked breakfast for the guests staying. Overall a very positive and pleasant stay and we would certainly come back again

The admiral suite we were in was outstanding. It was roomy, well appointed & with lovely ocean views. The degree of cleanliness was just amazing. Also the breakfasts were very special & our hosts Rhonda & Chris very helpful. We loved staying at the Ark!

From the first phone call to Rhonda this booking was perfect ! She gave me details on the best rooms for 2 couples who were booking in for a single night stay. On the day of our arrival she contacted me and asked if we had made arrangements for dinner as the pub was usually booked out, so we promptly made the booking. On arrival we were so happy with our accommodation. It had a fabulous view, was immaculately clean with some Tim Tams to have with a cup of tea or coffee from the coffee machine in the room. Rhonda and Christer make their own yogurt, jams chutneys and bread to serve at breakfast and they are like a well oiled machine. He does the coffees, serves the dishes and chats to the guests while Rhonda makes the breakfasts. Chair lift to the Nut for a great walk which I definitely recommend. Penguin platform visit to see the penguins arrive in for the night which I definitely recommend. The area around the platform is lit with red bulbs so you can see them clearly. (we attended around 9pm as they arrived) There were so many of them in the graveyard so if you hear any noises you know what it is lol. The Stanley pub does great meals so we are pleased we booked as every table was reserved on arrival. We also bought some cheese and lollies at the corner store (sour dough bread under $8.00 and it was lovely) We will definitely return to this lovely place

We spent 3 days in Tasmania's north west. We had 3 nights at Noah's Stanley. Fantastic location and very comfortable place to stay. The hosts were warm, informative and helpful. While they lived on site at Noah's we rarely saw them. The room was fantastic - large area with a king bed and fantastic ensuite. Would recommend to anyone up in that region.

Such a fantastic B&B and great hosts - loved our two night stay. Everything you could think of needing in a room was there - the little touches were appreciated. Hosts were really friendly and helpful - highly recommend staying here when visiting the north west.

North western Tasmania has the cleanest air in the world. Imagine then to walk into your accommodation and it smells musty and damp! Worse, there were scented candles in our room to try and cover up the smell!!!! Our room was also very noisy as it opened directly off the common living area and underneath the wooden stairs up to the room upstairs. Couldn't even make a cup of tea to sooth our souls as we were only provided with two teabags - one english breakfast and the other green. All round a disappointing experience on what was otherwise a fabulous holiday
