Rooms The hotel has a main building and several outbuildings. We stayed in the main hotel. Originally we booked a Sea View room which costs more than that standard however we found it was too noisy as it overlooked the pool area where music is played all day. The hotel reservation team was amazing and they were happy to provide us with an alternative room on the quiet side of the hotel and the side sea view was actually much better than our original room. We were very happy with the room and assistance provided when change was requested Housekeeping Our room was clean and had everything we needed (toiletries towels etc) we had daily housekeeping and the housekeeping staff were amazing, they do a great job and we were happy to show our appreciation with a tip. Food There is a wide range of food for both veg and non-veg diners. Savory options became quite samey over the course of 7 days but the desserts were good. Overall I would rate the dining 5/10. Animation Team Katrina was amazing and she did everything to help make us feel welcome and involve us in the activities, Karaoke being a firm favorite! Katrina is a great ambassador to both the hotel and animation team, it was plain to see how much everyone liked her (especially the children) and appreciated her positive energy and excellent hospitality. Unfortunately the same cannot be said about Elias who made a point of ignoring us, making us feel unwelcome by deliberately choosing to not ask or invite us to any of the water polo, table tennis or darts events. I’m not sure why Elias behaved in such a manner, as we did not even speak with him, but he came across as very arrogant. I would encourage him to be more inclusive when dealing with hotel guests irrespective of their background and ethnicity. I hope this feedback reaches him and helps improve his conduct. Facilities Swimming pool was fine, seemed clean and there were always sun loungers available which we found to be a nice surprise. There is a gym which I didn’t get around to using as I opted to go for morning runs instead, be warned the hotel is on top of a very steep road which was great for keeping fit but if you’re not into exercise the hotel provides a golf cart service to help those less adventurous Drinks were typical AI non branded selection. Good selection of cocktails and non alcoholic drinks. The bar staff were also very friendly and made us feel very welcome. The snacks were not great (Pizza and soggy sandwiches) , I think this is an area where the hotel needs to improve as the quality is very poor. Wi-fi/Internet service was diabolical, connectivity in our room was patchy and inconsistent at best. Beach The hotel is a 5 minute walk to the beach which involves a steep incline depending on direction, as mentioned already, take the regular cart service if you’re feeling lazy. We spent a week at Galini Sea View Hotel, enjoying the beauty of the surrounding nature and relaxing at the great and clear pool. The sea view from the balcony was amazing we liked it! The rooms were spacious and comfortable and the service was top!

Would never go back. It was a waste of money. The entire hotel including the rooms are dirty. We had to go to the local supermarket to buy cleaning supplies to do it ourselves. Food was the same everyday, and there were small bugs on the lemon slices they put in the drinks at the poolbar… Pool beds were taken by 6-7 in the morning and most of them broken.

This hotel abounds in negative surprises. Uninterested staff (too young, harly any greeting), lack of privacy (even in expensive rooms), noisy refrugerator, lukewarm water from the faucet, unsatisfactory wifi, no heating, airco uncontrolable. Low quality food: always fat and cold fries, tasteless deserts. One evening, there was no meat whatsoever! The beach difficult to reach. Sometimes incredibly loud Arabic music, until 11 'o clock. The beer is good, and so is the bed - but go elsewhere!

We just come back from gallini sea view 5 star yesterday. The hotel is not as described on you Website we where missold it is definitely NOT 5 star its tired and delapodated its very unclean our rooms where 2123 and 2125 I will attach photos of these smelly rooms I did ask for a change 1st night and said I'd pay for a upgrade but was told non was avaliable at that time. There's no Chinese as advertised on the love holiday website not been one all year. No ice cream 11.00-18.00 only meal times. No late snacks at all as advertised food finishes at 21.00. The food is limited no carvary or bbq station there there just not used the food is the same very bland awful and the same every day dinner and tea I get there's cost cutting but this is suppose to be 5 star its 3 at best. We ended up eating out as 3 of us 4 had upset stomarchs. The kids pool has mold the beds by the pools are ripped someone at love holidays needs to visit this hotel its the worst we ever been we paid for 5 star and wanted to come home early. The staff where nice to be fair. In the photos I'll send you is ripped beds mold in showers and sinks stains on curtains the smell we found was the shower waist pipe in both rooms as in photos as the water fountain in the reception was disgusting as in the photos it was never cleaned while we where there.

This hotel is beautiful, and staff are all so friendly! We arrived at around midnight and they kindly provided us with a sandwich and a snack each as the restaurant was closed. I know it is all inclusive, however this was just a small touch that made part of our experience here! The food was lovely, and the local alcoholic drinks were great! Was not expecting them to be nice due to it being an all inclusive, however was pleasantly surprised! The staff are great, they all speak really good English. Shoutout to Kostas the bartender, he was great, amazing cocktails! Overall, for an all inclusive, this definitely lives up to the 5*! Hotel was spotless, beautiful and the location wasn't too bad, there is a beach 5 minutes away and the neighbourhood town is a 2 minute walk, however you will need to catch public transport or rent a car if you want to explore. There is a bus 2 minutes away from the hotel, which takes you to gorgeous Chania Old Town. We will definitely be back!

This place has got to be the worst 5 star hotel we ever stayed in. I paid extra at booking for a stay in main hotel rather than one of the annex buildings and guess what we were put in one of the annex buildings even after paying extra. All the annex buildings are no where near the main hotel and require a buggy to transfer you to main building, walking from annex buildings to main hotel can involve walking up a serious steep slope from a few streets away. Food was very average. Drinks were vile. All inclusive means you get tap water. The Italian restaurant was a joke. Food was same as you get in the buffet but colder and wine there was like vinegar. We asked to speak to the manager and were told to wait and after 15 minutes we were told they did not have a General manager. You have to pay for sun loungers on the beach which are dearer than the ones next door. All inclusive what a joke. There is no way anyone could give this place top marks. If booked and you cannot get deposit back ring hotel and try to confirm you are staying in main building. Main pool and Buffet are at main building.

Please avoid at all costs. Went there with friends and I can honestly say the hotel is very bad, dirty, very repetitive food! In 2 weeks hardly saw the pool being cleaned. The first room one of the party was given was the beach side overlooking a building site/dumping ground. They did move to the other side and the location was much better but the room was very musky and had a huge bulge on the ceiling which was below the bar. Over the years I have relied on Trip advisor for reviews and at the time of booking there were some good ones, however, these are fictiscous because trust me, anyone in their right mind would say the hotel needs to be bulldozed!!

This hotel is no way a 5 star hotel. 3 stars at best. When we arrived we had been told we need to pay a tourist tax of €54. Our booking didn’t mention this. Towels cost €20 per room which we got back on the day we left. Safe cost €3 per day when other AL establishments I have stayed in the safe is free. When leaving, you pay €2 charge for a locker to hold your cases, and if you need to go to that locker for anything it’s €2 each time you open it. We asked about a late check out of the room as we wanted to have showers etc before 7pm pick up. We could have a room for €40 for the day! Even though the hotel was empty. We declined, as we found that they had showers behind the reception and just asked for fresh towels. Rooms We booked a room with a sea view and we got a partial sea view near the pool. Okay. The room was really old, the walls had been wiped and you could clearly see this. The shower had thick lumps of mould around the shower hose and on the walls. Bits of the ceiling as fell every time you had a shower. You could hear every sound from the neighbours next door. On windy nights the hall door make a screaming sound as the wind entered under the door. All Inclusive We booked the all you can eat and the food was okay, the breakfast was fine. We met a couple who did not have AI, and still had breakfast, lunch and dinner and availed of the all inclusive drinks too. Which they sad had been all watered down. It was funny as we bumped into them a few days later and they told us that the food was so terrible that the hadn’t bothered going back into the restaurant. Staff are really nice.
