Bachmanngut

Another enjoyable stay at this Hotel. Rooms are clean, breakfast is great, spa facilities under-used (and therefore enjoyably peaceful) and the grounds beautifully kept. What sets the hotel apart from others for us, however, is the tennis. The hotel has three indoor plus three outdoor clay courts and daily coaching if you want it. We all enjoyed our lessons with Karl. Hopefully these will be available next year too as we're all keen to book! One small disappointment this year was the lack of evening restaurant. We were able to order Farmers Boards and ice-creams but last year the evening meals were just as good as breakfast and lunch. It was nice to get out and explore some of the restaurants in the town but hopefully they will be able to offer evening meals in the future again - even if only for a few evenings / something more informal like a BBQ. It's shame to waste the opportunity to sit on the terrace. Tips - you could possibly get away without a car staying here. The hotel is approx 10-15 minute walk down a hill into town. Transfer is under an hour from Salzburg airport. There are no laundry facilities for guests at the hotel but there is a Wascherei in Bad Ischl 9km drive away. Rooms are non-smoking inside but guests do smoke out on the balcony and outside the bar - if you are sensitive to this it would be worth requesting a room that is not directly above the bar terrace. The hotel has installed a lift in the last year so no need to lug luggage up and down the stairs. All in all a lovely hotel with great food and facilities in a fantastically scenic location. A mention also to the lovely bar staff especially Clemence who ensured we had everything we needed.

A repeat visit - this time with the family. Nothing disappoints in this beautiful place. Great views, wonderful room and we are in the restaurant which was as good as anything we’ve had before. The children loved the ponies.

Wir sind schon oft im Bachmanngut am Wolfgangsee zu Gast gewesen und kommen jedes Mal mit einem Lächeln und tollen Erinnerungen nach Hause. Dieses Hotel ist ein wahrer Geheimtipp für alle, die Wert auf Herzlichkeit, Gastfreundschaft und eine erstklassige Küche legen. Die Gastgeber schaffen eine familiäre Atmosphäre, in der man sich von der ersten Minute an willkommen fühlt. Das Team ist unglaublich freundlich, aufmerksam und professionell – es bleiben keine Wünsche offen! Besonders hervorzuheben ist die hervorragende Küche, die uns jedes Mal aufs Neue begeistert. Die Liebe zum Detail und die Qualität der Speisen sind einfach herausragend. Das Ambiente des Hotels ist ein Mix aus Tradition und modernem Komfort, und die Lage oberhalb des Wolfgangsees ist traumhaft schön. Ob für einen entspannten Wellnessurlaub oder einen Aktivurlaub in der Natur – das Bachmanngut ist der perfekte Ausgangspunkt. Wir freuen uns schon auf unseren nächsten Aufenthalt und können das Hotel jedem wärmstens empfehlen! Ein Ort, an den man immer wieder gerne zurückkehrt. Ein traumhaftes Wochenende im Bachmanngut! Schon die Lage über dem Wolfgangsee ist einzigartig…für Ruhesuchende einfach perfekt. Wir haben ein Chalet gebucht und unsere Erwartungen wurden noch übertroffen. Die Aussicht von unserer Terrasse ist herrlich, die Ausstattung des Chalets lässt keine Wünsche offen. Es riecht herrlich nach Zirbe im Zimmer. Man fühlt sich sofort zuhause. Die Betreuung ist sehr familiär, die ganze Familie kümmert sich herzlich um die Gäste. Das Essen verdient ganz sicher eine Haube…der Chef kocht höchstpersönlich!

Wir hatten einen wunderbaren Aufenthalt im Bachmanngut, das sich besonders durch die familiäre Atmosphäre auszeichnet. Das Frühstücksbuffet war ein absolutes Highlight – eine riesige Auswahl an frischen, regionalen Produkten, die keine Wünsche offen lässt. Und das Rührei? Definitiv das beste, das ich je gegessen habe – fluffig, perfekt gewürzt, und einfach ein Genuss! Besonders hervorzuheben ist auch die Tennishalle sowie der weitläufige Tennisplatz, welche hervorragend gepflegt sind und sowohl für Anfänger als auch erfahrene Spieler beste Bedingungen bieten. Für Entspannung nach dem Sport sorgt der Wellnessbereich mit Sauna, Dampfbad und einem Pool, der zum Abschalten einlädt. Das Personal war stets freundlich und zuvorkommend. Ich kann das Hotel jedem empfehlen, der einen erholsamen Urlaub mit einem herrliche Ausblick und der Möglichkeit zum Tennisspielen sucht!

Tophotel, Topküche, aufmerksames und hilfsbereites Personal, trotzdes schlechten wetters überall gute Laune, tennis und Wellnes auch sehr schön! Frühstück sehr gut, auch die Abendessenauswahl und die Qualität am Punkt, ich würde sogar sagen Haubenniveau :-)
