Well I love this apart hotel firstly it's reasonable, I love the location asxi always rent a car...Its away from crowd...The pool is amazing... Property is bit old but not bad..they really try to manage and maintain well

old hotel falling apart! how dirty, with **** everywhere. the towels smelled like ****, and had hair from other guests! everything dirty. stupid-looking employees. I've never seen anything like it. this is the real hotel hell!

On est resté 5 jours dans une chambre avec cuisine, le séjour s’est très bien passé. La chambre était très bien, agréable, spacieuse. Le côté cuisine était parfait, four, four micro-onde, plaque de cuisson, bouilloire, frigo, congélateur, etc. Le quartier est sympa mais il n’y a pas grand chose, on recommande la location d’une voiture.

J'ai pris une chambre avec formule petit déjeuner (qui est bien marqué lors de la réservation sur le site) + justificatif sur mon reçu mais on m'a dit que le petit déjeuner n'est pas compris. J'ai bel est bien montré le reçu indiquant cela mais l'information que l'hôtel a reçue n'est pas correcte indiquant que pas de petit déjeuner. Ils ne veulent pas trop entendre. Bref, pour ne pas faire d'histoire sur cela, j'ai dit OK. Si je l'ai su, j'ai pris une autre formule. Un peu décevant de la part de trip.com

I have been to this establishment many times over recent years but each year the facilities get worse and this year was by far the worst. Despite the hotel web site advertising a bar and food with a restaurant this does not exist and the previous chef no longer works there. The rooms are very tired and in need of major refurbishment. I only tried the breakfast once but found it to be inedible. There was no cold meat or cheese, no cereal or yoghurt, no selection of breads , the juice tasted watered down and the coffee was cheap instant. The hot food looked horrible which was disappointing because only a few years back there was an on site mini market, a fully stocked bar serving snacks and a restaurant service but that has all gone which does make one wonder about the future prospects for this establishment if such matters are not addressed urgently

Sad run down, keep picking these places to stay. Good points rooms are quite spacious and clean enough. Throw on top of mattress had a lovely cig burn in it Kettle and cups in room, unbelievably no tea, coffee etc to make a drink We stayed B&B worst cheap ingredient nasty breakfast ever, word of caution it will cost €8 if you decide to suffer it one morning Toaster is rubbish people were digging stuck toast out with a fork, accident waiting to happen. No bar inside or pool bar, no snacks available during day or meals on a night, no entertainment, unless you like betting on who will get electrocuted by the toaster The pool is cloudy, now when our hot tub does that we change the water, because it's not good, so be cautious it could be contaminated Not much to do evening locally, so went up to Bugibba, food a better price, 221 bus straight to bus station €2.50, loads of restaurants in the area.

Relaxing break and lovely spacious room with all the things we needed. Lovely balcony and fabulous shower! Oddly though…. No restaurant , no bar, no poolside refreshments as they were all there but closed and empty! That was such a shame as we would all have spent so much there… we all had to go in search of food & drink elsewhere, although not a problem, just a disappointment. Why are they still advertising them all when nothing is available ?

Don’t believe all the negative previous reviews please Yes it’s in need of a revamp but the hotel apartments have everything you need. The balcony is lovely the rooms are a good size the bathrooms brilliant and the location is a few steps from the sea. St Paul’s Bay is nice but not beautiful and after reading all the previous comments we were so nervous …. But relieved when we actually got here and met the really friendly staff and got to our room So, relax and enjoy!.. as we will

Not suitable for families with young children, for 20 somethings partying yes or maybe an episode of hotel hell with Gordon Ramsey. Our experience was so bad we had to find accomodation elsewhere. Rude member of night staff (not representative of Malta at all). After paying a tax, went to our room, immediately hit by a strange odour. No tv remotes (have to pay a charge) and only 3 channels. Loud noise from young adult guests became louder throughout the night, swearing, banging on doors, running up and down stairs, informed the staff but he made a token walk along a corridor and returned saying 'its a 3* hotel, what did you expect?'. Additional constant creaking noises throughout corridor and door areas appeared to be by termites or wood worm. The guest noise continued until 5.30am, by which time we had booked accomodation elsewhere. We thought we'd go early to the outdoor pool but staff were fishing out beer and spirits bottles. We went to the breakfast as we had paid for it and wished we hadn't bothered the fruit was off, the beans cold, the egg full of water. Please ignore the good pics and positive reviews - it's a bad hotel in a bad location (too far out).

We decided to write this review to help others to decide if it's the place for them on a budget holiday, so will be totally honest. Upon arrival the hotel was located up a hill approximately 100 yards off the main road that runs around the bay, so if you have mobility problems then this might not be suitable for you. However taxis drop off right outside if needed. The hotel itself, is very dated and could do with a major revamp. The lift is very small but works, so as long as you're happy with confined spaces it's adequate. There is an indoor swimming pool, which we didn't use as well as the outdoor pool as we were just visiting the island for sightseeing. The room (studio) self catering was very basic and tired in appearance, a fridge, microwave, kettle, toaster and 2 ring hob, enough to do basic cooking, however we ate out. There was always plenty of hot water, and overall the room was adequate for what we needed it for. The location of the hotel was in a quiet residential area, so not many restaurants in walking distance, however we had food at the Ushuaia Hotel overlooking the bay, which was beautiful. The hotel is in a quiet location, with a convenience store in the area for your basic needs. The bus service on the island is fabulous and the bus stop is located on the main road 100 yards from the hotel. We paid 50 euros for a 7 day unlimited travel pass for the two of us. If travelling on public transport be mindful of the pick pockets in the area who target tourists. However as a island, Malta and Gozo are beautiful and has lots of culture and architecture places to visit. Mellieha Bay, is 15 mins on the bus if you want to visit a beach nearby. As we were about to leave the island has Ibiza weekends throughout the year, so you might want to check the dates when booking to avoid the club atmosphere, if you are unaware of this happening on the island a few times a year.

When we got there we couldn't book in until 2 o'clock when the coach had already picked us up. Then on the first night the noise was terrible with students from Scotland. We called reception and nothing was done then every night from that point on the noise never stopped. Nothing was done Not one to visit

Room on 2nd floor basic, tatty but clean. Tiny balcony, standing room only. Can hear every noise from other rooms and when guests walk past the door. Young guests arrive back in early hours and are very noisy, doors banging, shouting, singing and knocking on each others doors. Staff were aware but not concerned. Cigarette ash and vomit from room above on our 'balcony '. Didn't venture to the pool. Hired a car so out all day. Bring your own toiletries as only small sachet shower gel provided. Shower is powerful and hot. Malta is well worth visiting, car hire recommended to see hidden gems. Sadly we don't recommend staying here.
