Having stayed at this hotel in 2018 we decided to go back in 2024. The staff were friendly, the food is great especially the Sunday carvery. Can’t find any fault with this hotel and we hope to stay again in the not too distant future. Only disappointed that the pool area was closed for refurbishment. Lynda and Alan from Lincolnshire.

This hotel is very dated yet it seemed right! A bit french. Beds were so comfortable, pillows not so much. The room we were in was so cold despite a radiator on, it never warmed up. Needs a double duvet on bed not a single , kept chasing the duvet to stay warm. Shower was amazing. Staff were so accommodating, polite and friendly and breakfast was really good. It had its own restaurant and food excellent.

Run down hotel, freezing cold pool that is not heated about 19°, sauna and steam room not working. Booked a 2 night stay and left after the first night - never done that before. The only reason they have 2 stars is because Lastminute.con managed to get a refund to us for the second night. Reception was useless. I read the reviews and they honestly dont reflect how awful the hotel is. Locals know it as the worst on the island.

The staff was very nice, but if you are looking for a hot shower. It will be in vain. We complained three times, but still only luke-warm water. The food at the restaurant was good and breakfast had awesome croissants, the coffee was not good.

Stayed here for a week and were not disappointed. The hotel could do with a little TLC but was ok for our needs. The room was fine and cleaned daily with fresh towels provided. The staff were good, on reception, in the dining area and the housekeepers, all very pleasant. The food in the restaurant, Sahara City, was excellent, we had 2 evening meals there and were delighted with them. The breakfasts were also sufficient with a choice of freshly cooked meals and a continental style buffet. The hotel is handy for travelling into St Peters Port and for the airport, be warned the airport is close by and there is some aircraft noise on take off and landing, but this didn't really bother us. For us the pool area was the star, it's a lovely indoor pool with seating and loungers and a well equipped gym. We had booked the hotel just a couple of weeks before travelling and would possibly stay there again should we return to this beautiful island.

The hotel is fantastic. The hotel itself is so clean. All the staff are very kind, helpful, friendly and would certainly go out of the way to help you. The restaurant serves amazing food and again if you ask nothing is too much trouble.

I had a amazing stay in this hotel all the staff were amazing especially the girl on reception .I loved the location as very little noise except for planes which I actually miss .bus stop outside hotel handy for trips to town or around the island .you can get a weeks pass for 18.00 in town .food at this hotel was adequate with a good choice .pizzas are the best I’ve ever had

Just went for Sunday lunch. 6 of us. Never had such terrible food in Guernsey. The vegetables were frozen. My pork was at least 60% fat and no one enjoyed it. Quite frankly should have realised since no one was there. Just had to say to help other unsuspecting people. Oh, i did complain, but the staff barely spoke any English.

Loved this hotel during our stay in guernsey. Felt comfortable and like a home from home. Breakfast cooked to order and plentiful. Excellent steaks. We enjoyed our stay and was sad to leave. Staff helpful and friendly. Indoor pool was refreshing and had a pleasant swim during out stay.
