This place scores a solid 9/10 or 10/10 in so many respects for me. Amazing location, amazing rooms, amazing views and amazing staff. There are two "buts" unfortunately. The WIFI connection in my room was extremely poor. If and when I had an occasional WIFI signal the strength measured at 1 mb/s. This became a major frustration for me at times as the mobile phone internet reception was also not great in my room. The other "but" would be that there is no DSTV available - just the "Openview" channels which are really not worth the effort of even switching the TV on. If internet access and TV is of zero concern to you as a traveller then I would say book this place immediately. If it is important to you perhaps enquire whether these issues have since been resolved by the lodge before you book.

It was a lovely resort; the room was good. Some issues that was disappointing though. We there during an extremely hot period. We occupied room 19. There was an air con in the room which we used, however we couldn’t sleep with it on and opted to use the ceiling fan instead while we were asleep. Unfortunately, the fan was extremely noisy. The breakfast was average with the same offerings every day. We wanted to swim in the evenings, unfortunately It was pitch dark around pool with absolutely no lights around the pool area. There was one solitary light in the pool which was dangling around and offered no light at all, making it impossible to swim in the evening.

We loved our room and its view. The staff was very friendly and helpful. I preferred the excursion they organized over the one we booked with an outside vendor. The food at the restaurant was quite good as well. Improvements could be made to the pool area. The water was not clear, and most importantly, it is a steep walk to get to it without any handrails (nor any to get into and out of the pool). Anyone over the age of 50 usually appreciates having something to hold on to on an incline.

There are a few matters that I would like to draw attention to: 1. The swimming pool is looking a bit "tired" The light is floating on the surface and the decking needs major attention. 2. There is no proper lighting at the pool at night. This is a shame as it would have been lovely to cool down at night in the hot weather. 3. There seems to be insufficient parking for the number of units. 4. There is no consideration for non-pork eaters at breakfast. The cheese strips are placed in the same platter with the ham, so we were unable to eat the cheese due to cross contamination. Overall we had a most enjoyable stay. I would definitely return some day, and would have no hesitation in recommending this place to others going to St Lucia

We took a two week break & decided to visit St Lucia. The nature and wildlife are worth seeing. Restuarants are really good! Local folk friendly. Jurie the nightwatch at EcoLodge was always helpfull! We had a room with a interleading door which is not great if you have neighbours. Watching Tv on a volume you can scarcely hear will disturb people in the not sound proof nextdoor room - The establishments wifi is very poor. We only ate breakfast 7 days out of the 14 days stay- can give more attention to detail and make sure there is enough plates when guests arrive for breakfast, clean up and set tables as guests leave to give guests a choice of tables to enjoy breakfast at. The ceiling fans in the rooms need to be cleaned. Cutlery and crockery can really be replaced in the unit we used, still seems dirty after I first washed it. The owner will have to upgrade the property to keep up with other similar establishments which offer more value for money. St Lucia is a beautifull town with lovely nature.

Situated at the edge of st Lucia with Ocean view. Place is outdated and in need of renovation. Price does not meet expectations and service. Staff is uninspired and lacks happiness and hospitality. Except for Jurie, the nightwatch. Great guy, who happily shows you hippos when roaming the street at night.

Our weeks stay was absolutely wonderful. The rooms lovely, linen beautiful, rooms cleaned & clean towels everyday, was much appreciated. Lovely gardens, & settings. Your staff were wonderful, Mandy, Lucky & especially Jurie. What a wonderful man Jurie is, he advised us to keep our patio light on at night, so if the hippos appeared he would knock on the door & advise us the Hippo's are there. Friday night we were on the patio & he came passed & told us so that they were there, we all went to the pavement & had the most wonderful experience seeing the hippo on the pavement. He showed my grandkids the frogs in the water feature & the big snail. A very special person he is. Thank you all for our wonderful experience at your lodge.

The rooms were very nice, but the bathrooms could use some updating. I had clean towels brought to my room which were stained. I asked about the yoga classes, which were advertised, but not available. The grounds were nice and it is walkable into town.

Very nice spacious rooms, I had double bed, 2 bunk beds, bathroom, kitchenette with kettle/teapot, cooking rings and pots/pans. Good grounds. Handy for restaurants in St Lucia. Breakfast average, but didn't go hungry! Restaurant at hotel not fully open as off-season
