During check-in, I was informed that if I booked breakfast in advance, it would cost €22 per person, whereas the price would be €25 per person without prior reservation. Based on this information, I decided to reserve breakfast for the first day of my two-night stay at the rate of €22 per person.
However, upon checking out, I noticed that I had been charged €25 instead. When I pointed this out to the front desk staff, Ms. FACO, and explained that I had booked breakfast at the €22 rate during check-in, she simply stated that there was no record of it and insisted that, according to hotel policy, I had to pay €25. While the difference is only €3 per person, if it is indeed Hilton Malta’s policy to make guests pay for the mistakes of their front desk staff, I will not be booking a stay here again. Additionally, I was dissatisfied with the way Ms. FACO handled the situation—her attitude was dismissive and unhelpful, making the experience even more unpleasant.
Aside from this issue, my stay was comfortable.
