Our stay at Hermitage Bay Resort was absolutely unforgettable. The natural setting of the resort is breathtaking—secluded and peaceful, with no other resorts in sight, which made it feel like our own private paradise. Our beachfront room featured a huge deck with multiple outdoor seating areas, and the outdoor shower was a fantastic touch. Waking up to the unobstructed view of the beach and ocean was a highlight of each day. One of the most memorable experiences was the romantic dinner we had on the beach to celebrate my husband's birthday. It was a delicious and incredibly private affair, with a beautifully set table and the sound of the waves as the perfect backdrop—it felt like the ultimate intimate dining experience. The VIP service provided for an expedited customs process and airport arrival. Solange at the front desk was a standout, making us feel welcome right from check-in and throughout our entire stay. The resort’s small size allowed the staff to get to know us by name, creating a friendly and personalized atmosphere. Kyle, the beach attendant, was especially kind and made sure we had everything we needed for a truly relaxing experience. The nightly sushi at the tree bar was a fun way to meet other guests, and the massages at the spa were top-tier. We also enjoyed the complimentary watersports, especially the private Hobie cat lesson, which was led by an amazing instructor. The new lunch venue with live music or a DJ added a lively element to the resort, which was great for us as younger guests. The evening live entertainment each night kept the vibe upbeat and entertaining. The food at Hermitage Bay was absolutely delicious, with fresh, flavorful dishes that made every meal a highlight. Lastly, it was fun to spot various superyachts taking advantage of the calm cove; they're choosing this spot because it's absolutely beautiful. While our experience was nearly flawless, there were a few minor points worth mentioning for feedback. The beach, although secluded, is technically public, and we did encounter an outside beach vendor who was loudly talking on a cell phone right next to our chaise lounges. This was unusual, given the absolute privacy the loungers otherwise provided. When we politely asked the vendor to move, she was very hostile, so it might be worth the resort considering improved security or a better way to handle such situations. Additionally, while the resort is adults-only, the owner's children were present during our visit. While they were well-behaved, it was a little surprising to see children in what is otherwise an adults-only environment. Another suggestion would be to offer food service at the pool and beach areas. While drinks were available pool and beachside, it was a bit unusual compared to other luxury resorts not to have food service in these spots. Despite these minor points, we would absolutely return to Hermitage Bay again and again. The staff, the food, and the overall serene atmosphere made for a p
