SureStay Plus by Best Western St. James Donaldsonville

Unless you enjoy upper respiratory infections and living in filth, stay away. The location is hard to beat, however make the drive for a better place. Even the breakfast area was completely nasty. If I were the owners, I'd make a complete chain of command swap - swift and deliberate. It's like something we'd see on the Travel Channel television show "Hotel Impossible", except worse. Anthony Melchiorri from the show should visit here and save this place from certain death. After the stay, I spent 5 days fighting an upper respiratory infection. I sincerely hope things change and the place improves for other visitors. I can't see myself ever staying here again.

A great stay. I checked in for 2 nights and was greeted by friendly front of house staff. My room was clean and warm with a comfortable bed/Pillows. The bathroom is dated but everything worked fine and white stuff toiletries were a nice added touch (along with a rather lovely pillow spray too!) These were also replaced so I had fresh toiletries for my second night. Breakfast was good. The mini smoothies and fruit pots were excellent, along with the usual English breakfast options. Only improvement here would be for the toaster to to turned up, it took 3 attempts before I got more than just warm bread.

The day staff is very rude made my husband go through so much when he ran out to thw car told him he wasnt aloud to come in they called and asked me what he looked like and the room was in his name said his picture on his license looked like a black dot the food is nasty it had flies all over it I would never stay there again
