We were greeted and brought up to our room by John Hoot. Absolutely white glove service. Great first impression. The hotel itself looks stunning and we are excited to get out and continue exploring. Our infant son was brought up a baby crib as well. Excited for our stay.

We didn't have any specific plans, but it was our anniversary. We had been to the Casa Monica for our anniversary years ago, so we decided to try it again. Although we arrived without any reservations, the agent at the front desk, Nardia, took the time to show us two different types of rooms so we could choose. The standard room may have been sufficient, but since it was torrential rain that day we decided on the premium room (with a sitting area) and mostly stayed inside. And since it was raining, they even gave us a book to read. After that, we visited the concierge to ask about places to go for our anniversary dinner. After showing us the menus for various places, she made reservations for us and gave us a card to present to the management at the restaurant. After dinner - A tray had been delivered to our room with a large hand-written card, "Happy Anniversary" from the front desk, accompanied by a chilled bottle of... something bubbly. In the morning we had breakfast in the restaurant in the lobby, the Cordova. Good food, excellent service. That was our experience, keen attention to detail. Some may find it otherwise. For example: We specifically asked for a quiet room. We were on the second floor, on the King Street side of the building. There's traffic noise up until about 11 at night, and then starting up again at about 7 in the morning. In other words, about normal for a town; not crazy noisy, but not remarkably quiet either. More bothersome was that the phone on the night table had a red LED light that was really bright. I turned the phone so that it was pointing in the other direction, shielded it with a pillow, and finally just slept in the middle of the king sized bed. But all in all, it was a great getaway for a wedding anniversary.

Charming historic property with helpful friendly staff. The location is ideal - close proximity to the historic sites. The onsite bar/restaurant had good food, drinks, and service. The Starbucks inside the hotel made it very convenient to get our morning coffee. Definitely recommend staying here.

The hotel is super cool and very classic and upscale. Every staff member was very helpful and service level was a 5 star from valet , bell boy, front desk to house keeping. Big shout out to the Valet staff. 11am check out on a Saturday and very minimum wait. My 4 star review is due to the Serenata Beach club that is included with your stay. This beach club has SO MUCH POTENTIAL. Pool is awesome access to private beach awesome! Service at this resort is a zero!!! Not staff’s fault this is an ownership/ management problem. Not enough staff puts so much pressure on a staff. Waited over an hour for lunch order to be brought to table. Drinks took 1/2 hour. Ordered drinks for family at pool took 45 min. This is a reflection of the hotel because they provide the access to this beach club. I would look for a new beach club sponsor in my opinion. This beach club does not live up to the hotels excellent standards. Serenata do better hire some more staff and your club will be 5 star

hotel was close to the historic district and you could walk to everything Room was musty and the AC made the room very moist feeling, like it was adding moisture and not removing it. Shower pressure was low No sit down breakfast area, Starbucks was only place in the hotel to get coffee, but there are places in walking distance that offered a nice breakfast and good coffee. (For those that prefer something other than Starbucks )

John ,our bellman, was over the top amazing!! He really went out of his way to answer our questions and gave us detailed recommendations of where to eat and drink. He made our stay feel independently curated. We would most definitely recommend staying here for the first class attention.

John was very knowledgeable about where to go eat while we were on our honeymoon! He gave us breakfast/lunch/dinner & dessert places. Enough that we were only able to knock off about 3/4 of the list. Thank you, John!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Historic meticulously maintained property. Perfect location to use as a base of operation to see the oldest city in the US. Staff are friendly and helpful. In house restaurant was great for breakfast. Will definitely be back if we return to St Augustine in the future.
