Das Vesper

We stayed in this hotel twice before and booked two rooms for a panorama plus room one year ahead. We requested to have the rooms next to each other at least on the same floor. When we arrived we learned that not only the rooms weren’t on the same floor we also got two different rooms. First they tried to explain that the rooms were the same. One room was half of the size and didn’t have the bathtub as advertised. After complaining we were told that the sales manager had changed the room categories and that the panorama plus room is now the same as the regular room. Even though their signs at the hallways were indicating differently. They gave us for the one room a refund of 10 euros per night, a total of 4 nights. This was still ridiculous because the room prices were way different between these rooms. After complaining the next day they changed the room. When I got back I contacted the management and it took them 2 weeks to respond with no word that they are sorry. Instead they were defending themself about their decision to change the categories. It was very disappointing leaves a feeling that they are not interested in my business. The room was clean but does not deserve 3 stars. The bathrobes are worn out and the room is very economical furnished. No pictures, no decoration very simple. The breakfast is good but nothing special. Staff seemed always stressed out. I missed the smile. After all we won’t stay here again.

We booked a golf trip with Pin High Golftravel for a 2 day stay at Golfhotel Vesper. Unfortunately there were too many things that went wrong on the way during these 2 days. Here they are : - on arrival we received the news that at one of the 2 courses there were only 12 holes open, and that golf carts were not allowed. As my partner needs a cart we took the option of playing Felderbach twice. But that was not part of the plan, we should have been informed plenty of time before we arrived. - my partner had been given the information that his garlic allergy was passed on to the hotel, however when the first course arrive he asked if there was garlic in it, and there was - we ordered a whiskey and we were given some time later a second one even though we did not order it. Obviously we could have complained, but I was not in the mood, so we paid for 4 whiskeys, which was more than 50 EUR. - On day 2 at the golfclub reception we were informed that we were booked on the course with 12 holes, that she knew nothing about a rebooking and that there was no way we could play the Felderbach course. Obviously this time I started a discussion and finally she phoned to someone else, who confirmed that we were rebooked. She did not even check our name for the time that we mentioned on the Felderbach course, it could have avoid all this unnecesary confusion. - At dinner my partner mentioned again his garlic allergy which seemed like a good idea, because I think they forgot. We order the wine card, but they forgot to bring it, and then we order mayonaise with the main dish and the same waitress forgot again. Having said all this it wasn't quite as bad as it looks here. - I found the golfcourse we played quite nice and in good shape - We were offered on day 1 to take pictures of the other course, which was nice, but then obviously on day 2 that other person said it was out of the question (but we did it anyway) - when the dish with garlic was taken back my partner received another dish - The waitress who forgot about the wine card and mayonaise offered an apology and said she just seemed to have a bad day - We had the creamy aspargus soup twice and that was very good Definitely it leaves a lot to be desired to offer better service and experience to hotel guests.

Perfektes Hotel in absoluter Ruhe, sehr gute Küche, exzellenter Service. Für mich 10 von 10 Punkten

Väldigt rena och nya fina rum. Bra frukost och bra mat i restaurangen på kvällen. Fantastisk service från all personal vi träffade.

Kamer met bad midden in de slaapkamer. ‘S nachts erg warm, er is geen airco aanwezig en boven de keuken. Personeel erg aardig, in het restaurant helaas geen keuze. De golfbanen zijn erg leuk maar moeilijk. Konden geen buggy ivm regenval in de nacht. Dus lopen en best veel hoogteverschil. Prijs voor de kamer zeker te duur, ontbijt en diner prima ondanks geen keuze. Golfbanen top

Toplocatie voor golfers die van een (fysiek) uitdagend parcours houden en zeer rustig omgeven willen zijn door de natuur van het dal. Hotel met nodige voorzieningen, zonnig terras met zeer sterke en goede bediening. Avonddiner is goed, jammer dat men hier op het budget let gezien (basis). Ontbijt op zondag zeer lekker en uitgebreid! Prachtige panorama kamers met terras, zeer ruim en heel comfortabel behalve het hoofdkussen bed (plat). Een echte aanrader!

Modernes Hotel mit großzügigen Zimmern in herrlicher Lage im Bergischen. Sehr freundlichens Personal. da ich nur eine Nacht dort war, konnte ich das Restaurant leider nicht geniessen. das Hotel liegt inmitten einem 18 Loch Golfplatz.

Comme évoqué dans le titre cela faisait quelques années que je n'y étais pas retourné. Au final toujours aussi bon hôtel. L'environnement au milieu du Golf est paisible et très bien entretenu. Les chambres sont spacieuses, très propres, la literie confortable et les salles de bain très agréables. C'est surtout au niveau du restaurant que c'est aussi une belle réussite. La liste des plats n'était pas aussi longue qu'avant pour s'adapter à la situation Covid avec moins de convives qu'avant. Néanmoins de bons plats, bien servis en quantité, qualité et en visuel. La carte des vins s'est elle aussi réduite, mais le choix est assez large pour trouver son bonheur. Le service a été particulièrement bon, avec sourire, amabilité, et réactivité. Au final une très bonne soirée.
