Website doesn’t mention that this is above a bar and the music and noise made sleeping impossible

The room was hot and the window was open when I arrived on a 38 degree day which made it unbearable to stay in. I closed the window and went downstairs for a refreshing ale.
After a while I went back up and closed the window and put the fan on (as I knew there was no air conditioning. There was no fridge in the room so couldn’t have a cool drink. I would not stay here again and would not recommend it.

Royal Hotel Springwood is a clean, well kept with a friendly staff hotel at a very reasonable price. Would stay again 🙏

Very welcoming..let me in early after full days travel from Brisbane. Happy and helpful staff throughout. Great town to stay in..good facilities, great access to bush walks, helpful, friendly people. Hotel food had good choices too!

After years visiting with friends I won’t be returning after todays meal. The bistro opened 45 minutes after the opening time on the website, then it took another half hour to serve a rare steak, which came with about 10 chips and a salad made of a single cherry tomato chopped in half, a slice of cucumber, 3 cubes of feta and a iceberg lettuce leaf. I don’t know what changed over the last couple of weeks but everyone else that use to eat their must have also noticed the drop in quality because we were the only ones eating today.

The staff were extremely helpful and it was good to have a bistro in the premises. My room was very comfortable and clean. I thought it could be noisy due to the band downstairs but I did not hear anything at all.

The room was pretty grimy and the bathroom had blood on the e walls. I trod on a tiny glass shard that was in the carpet!! Wouldn’t recommend
