We did a fair amount of research of the Split area before picking this hotel and we were not disappointed. It is on the outskirts of the main town area (approximately 10 minute drive to the old town) which was what we wanted to suit budget as well as not being in an overly busy area. We were here in June and an Uber to the old town cost between €4.50-€5.50 however this may be more costly in the peak of summer. Breakfast was included and is cooked frequently so it’s always fresh. It’s a small buffet but there is plenty to choose from. Food was available between 07:00-10:00 although you can get tea and coffee at any time of the day. The pool area is small but also nice and cosy. It doesn’t get too busy as there are not lots of rooms here. Everything is kept very clean. Our room was spacious with a comfy bed. Towels changed daily as well as cleaning. The shower was great with plenty of water pressure. Although there is not a bar the room does have a fridge and it’s ok to have your own drinks around the pool. There is a sauna room and a jacuzzi and both are kept clean and tidy. During our stay in Croatia we had a hire car which was taken in to consideration when booking this hotel based on its location. The main reason for staying in Split was to visit the old town, Krka national park (1 hour drive away) and also drive to other areas close by. There is a beach just 5 minutes walk away but it isn’t very pretty. Kasjuni beach is the best in the area and is only 15 minutes by car which I presume would be €7-10 in June. What made our stay better than expected was the friendliness and helpfulness of the hotel staff as well as how clean and tidy they keep it. I would recommend it to couples looking to explore Split and surrounding areas.

Lovely hotel. Excellent staff. Clean. Rooms with immediate access to the pool. Lovely pool. Comfy beds. Best pillows ever. Quiet location. Shower great. Good breakfast. You need to take a taxi into Split Old Town. Too far to walk. Takes 10 mins. About £4 with Uber. Split Old Town is lovely. There are some restaurants within walking distance. Dalmatino and Calypso both good

We stayed here for a week and had a fantastic stay. The staff are so lovely and helpful. The room was very clean and well maintained - it’s cleaned daily and you can have fresh towels daily too if you wish. The pool area is clean with lots of sun loungers. You’re provided with a pool towel which was a lovely touch. Breakfast is great- lots of choice! You can also help yourself to free hot drinks whenever you want. Only very small negative is that it’s a long walk into town (solid 45 minutes). But it’s 5 min walk to the beach so that outweighs the long walk to town! Get Ubers into town instead of the local taxis as they’re half the price. Overall, a brilliant hotel and would stay again.

What a lovely hotel! Staff were friendly, cleaners went above and beyond (thanks for folding out pjs and ordering our shoes) and the breakfast was delicious. There are spa facilities on site and we could use the gym and jacuzzi free of charge every day. There is a really clean pool and sun beds that can be used too - this area never gets busy so ignore any a relaxing day, I’d highly recommend. Uber into Old town ranged from £4-9 and was about a 10 min drive. Uber was almost half the price of local taxi firms so would highly recommend using it. There is a beach 2 mins from the hotel but, like every where in Croatia, it is pebbled. 3 beach bars around there but we felt they didn’t really want our business so we went elsewhere. Overall, highly recommend!
