Tifani Luxury Rooms

Tifani, the owner goes above and beyond to service customers at her lovely hotel in a great location at the old town area of Split. She even picked us up at the car rental location and gave us a short tour of the area’s highlights. A tasty breakfast was included at her father’s nearby restaurant. She and her husband are opening another hotel down the street next year which will no doubt be just as nice.

My wife and I visited Split and selected Tifani Luxury apartments. The rooms are well appointed (it has everything that you would expect) and it is less than a minute's walk into the Diocletian palace entering from the Silver gate. Whilst the accommodation was very comfortable and the location very convenient, there were two things that were slightly off-putting. The first is that the floorboards make a lot of noise when being walked upon - certainly not a dealbreaker. The second is that the room is located directly above a restaurant/bar. On a Saturday night, the bar plays pretty loud music until about 11pm. If you're going to be out and about until then, this is no issue. If you have a 7am start on Sunday morning and trying to sleep early, then you've got a problem. In fairness, there was no loud music on Sunday evening so this is most likely just a Saturday night issue (perhaps Fri night too but we didn't stay over a Friday). All in all,very comfortable accommodation ideally located (except for the two points raised above).

I suppose being inside the Palace walls might be more romantic, but at this price, being steps away from the Silver gate, it should make no difference. Convenient to markets and street parking, with exceptional service and a great breakfast, these clean, comfortable rooms are perfect for families with pets.
