Travelodge Liverpool John Lennon Airport

Thoroughly recommmend. Member of staff on recption was outstandingly welcoming and helpful. Inside of building: all extremely clean and very well planned. I liked the security of the lifts. The automatic entrance/exit doors were extremely useful, although perhaps not as secure but very helpful for customer use. Currently, the front of the building is undergoing development so not attractive BUT the inside is spotless, as if it is new and MOST WELCOMING. EXCELLENT FACILITIES. EXCELLENT STAFF on RECEPTION: VERY WELCOMING. VERY GOOD VALUE. I shall return and thoroughly recommend for short stays.

Not having a good experience at this hotel. The sound insulation is extremely poor. You can hear every door on the corridor opening. People are very noisy in the corridor (no signs asking for consideration for others like I have seen in a Premier Inn). I can hear people in the next room boiling a kettle as well as other noises and movements on the floor above. The curtains aren’t blackout. As it’s May and days are longer it’s past 9pm and still light in the room. My daughter is struggling to get to sleep as it’s noisy and not dark. We have a 5am departure, so very disappointed for an ‘airport hotel’. Plus there’s the paid parking. Assume this is detailed on the website, but it’s still annoying as never had this at any other Travelodges we have stayed in. They could just take your registration but without the charge. Don’t think we’ll be staying here again, especially not if we have an early flight the next day.

Good location for an early morning flight and at a reasonable price. Staff were friendly and had the option of being able to store my bag ahead of check in.
