"Pleasant stay at the hotel. Clean accommodation and nice rooms. We had the superior room and the only downside was that the two single beds kept sliding apart. Easily solved if wheels with brakes were installed. Otherwise, friendly staff and a great breakfast."

"The renovation of the hotel is absolutely superb. The rooms are very well appointed and comfortable. It’s a grand and elegant building. Unfortunately the standard of the restaurant lets it down. The food is not at all innovative and is bistro style at best. Bread was served haphazardly with some guests not receiving bread at all while others got it with the dessert. Although the restaurant was not full and there were plenty of staff, drink orders were very slow and abruptly served. One of the young women was obviously being trained but the other student staff wandered in and out with a vacant look, not clearing tables or offering wine. It was very hard to summon anyone’s attention. The meal itself was basic with no sides available and no vegetables. One would expect more from a 5 star establishment. They need a new chef and a menu to match the elegance of the hotel. The lime green and white garden chairs and tables in no way go with the otherwise sumptuous surroundings. I hope they are able to lift their game soon as the place has great potential"

"The person at the reception is very cold and not professional, not even friendly. The rooms are clean but not more, a little expensive for the price/night. On the other hand, the mattresses are very bad which gave us very poor sleep. Nothing worse than that! The hotel restaurant is OK but under the large window it is much too hot even in the evening!"

"Chúng tôi ở đây hai đêm vào cuối tháng 3 để tham dự Laetare của Stavelot. Tôi gần như hủy đặt phòng vì tôi gửi hai email với những câu hỏi đơn giản (có cần gắn đường dây cho CPAP của tôi không, và chúng tôi cần đặt phòng cho Thermes de Spa không) nói tiếng Pháp hoàn hảo, và email thậm chí không được nhận. (Vì ra thì tụi mình nên có đặt phòng cho thermes, nhưng dù sao họ cho chúng tôi vào). Tôi rất vui khi chúng tôi ở lại, vì phòng ở thoải mái (chúng tôi chọn một trong những phòng lớn hơn), và vị trí thuận tiện. Cần khoảng 10 bước để vào lối vào trước, không có lối đi nên người già hoặc người lập lỗi nên chuẩn bị. Bữa sáng tươm tất, mặc dù họ chỉ nói với chúng tôi vào ngày thứ 2 rằng chúng tôi có thể chuẩn bị một số trứng. Không rõ tại sao ngày đầu tiên không được đề cập. Vấn đề khác mà người ta nên nhận ra là thời gian nhận phòng khá hạn chế. Nếu bạn có thể xử lý những những những những xấu hiệu âm tính thì đây là một nơi lưu trú mạnh mẽ, đặc biệt là phòng tốt hơn của họ. Nếu họ không muốn trả lời email của họ, ít nhất họ có thể tạo ra một phản hồi tự động mà từ tủ email không được kiểm tra -- hoặc xóa địa chỉ email cùng nhau."

"A stunning accommodation in a beautiful setting away from the town. Thierry was so helpful on our arrival. The rooms are beautifully appointed and very clean with all the amenities you would want. Unfortunately we didn’t make use of breakfast as we had an early start. I would certainly recommend and would love to stay again when we are on our motorcycle travels. Thank you so much for our welcome."
