Travelodge Hotel - Southend on Sea

We really enjoyed our stay here,will definitely be coming back. wonderful helpful staff nice and clean room bathroom and hotel overall.

Friendly and efficient checkin. I was able to leave my luggage until I checked in at 3pm. The room on the second floor overlooked the main road. There is no air conditioning, so a problem when the weather is hot. A fan was provided, but this was dirty. Spacious room for 2 people, two chairs and coffee & tea making facility. There is hand soap by the sink and one soap dispenser in the shower. Which was faulty. No shower mat provided. I had a restless night's sleep as it was difficult due to the heat. There was little noise during the night. Perhaps because it was a Sunday night. I would not stay here during the summer again. It's very close to the Southend Central train station, shops and restaurants.

Was visiting for first time as had concert at Cliff Pavilion seeing The The Travelodge was short walk from train station the Venus was 20 minutes walk and spent the day on the pier walked one way train back , the town centre was a buzz to walk around and the options for food was incredible

Really good value for money, it’s not great but at the end of the day you do get more than what you pay for in my personal opinion.

We always stay at this hotel—there’s not much more to say other than it’s absolutely beautiful. What truly stood out was the antastic service from Maria She gave us all the information we needed and ensured our stay was smooth and pleasant.Thank you so much, Maria!

We stayed here for the airport. Very disappointing. The noise outside from kids made it impossible to sleep as I had to keep window open due to the smell of cigarettes. My friends in 2 other rooms said they smelt the same. There was no point changing hotel as it was only a 4 hour sleep before getting to the airport. Would not use again
