房間有點舊，衞生情況一般，提前預訂所以入住比較方便，位置上離開主街和學生公寓很近，晚上酒店有停車位不收費，酒店有早餐，我們一早趕航班沒有用，不作評論。

房間、衞生間大，吹風機、電熱水壺等設施齊全，入住的客房有一張大床和一張單人床，窗户能打開，空調、wifi好，房間非常舒適。離市中心步行5分鐘、火車站步行15分鐘，緊鄰東花園。

房間很乾凈，前台人員很熱情，與人溝通時笑臉相迎，耐心解答問題，房間不算很大，10平方米左右，內配有電熱水壺，捲筒紙也是有的，還有咖啡及糖等。總之入住還是非常滿意。

The staff all seemed lovely, they were smartly dressed and very happy to help.The room was secure and we felt safe. The room was a bit of a letdown though with a window that wouldn't close and in general the place seemed tired and run down with ageing decor. A lovely bathroom though clean and tidy with good smelling soap.

Clean and comfortable room with plenty of space and good facilities. Nice soft bed. Some road noise at night, which was unavoidable due to its central location, but this wasn't too troubling (I easily slept through it). Breakfast on the 5th floor dining room was reasonably priced and was good quality. All in all, the hotel had everything I needed to enjoy a short leisure break in Southampton.

Overall the staff were helpful,and a special mention should go to Shirley who was outstanding. Sadly, that is where the credit ends. The bedroom was not serviced on one occasion and the wait time to be served dinner was between 30 minutes and an hour. This was dispite having previously booked a dinner service time. Frankly the service time was appaulling. With only a few guests at dinner, waiting 30 minutes for soup is dreadful. Finally, on every night I stayed there I was accosted by a woman begging and preventing me driving into the hotel car park. Police were called but nothing was done to eradicate the situation. It is not pleasant to have someone aggresively begging and coming up to you in the dark, every time you enter the hotel. For this reason alone, I would not stay here again.
