Beechwood Guest House

The room was excellent value: comfortable, clean, very well equipped and tastefully decorated. The bed was comfy with nice linen and the ensuite bathroom was very nice with a good strong shower. The whole place has a nice vibe and the owner is kind and will go out of his way to make sure you are happy. At breakfast my friend and i being vegetarians he was flexible and offered me combinations that were not on the menu although there were also some vegetarian set breakfasts. It was delicious. I have also visited here as a solo female traveller and have felt very safe and secure here. I would recommend this place to all but particularly to female travellers like myself. The website is a true reflection of what the rooms are like. They really are that nice.

I enjoyed my weekend stay at the Beechwood Guest House at South Shields. The host is friendly, helpful & will do all he can for his guest's. The single room with en suite I stayed in was exceptional. This room was immaculate, freshly decorated & well presented. The free wifi, smart tv, chair & table, kettle, iron & ironing board, fridge, hairdryer & last but not least Alexa was very pleasing. The bed was very comfortable & I also slept very well at the Beechwood. The breakfast cooked for me was delicious & what was on offer was faultless along with the service provided. Finally the Beechwood Guest House is without question one of the best places I have stayed at to date & it also offers me great value for my money afterall.

A lovely lovely guest house, room well appointed, lovely hot shower and warm as toast room, my host / owner is such a lovely helpful guy so approachable nothing is too much trouble for him, would highly recommend to anyone and everyone to stay here you will not be disappointed at all. All in all I'm grateful for everything he has helped me with. 10/10. bed is super comfortable I had a wonderful night sleep,

Lovely place perfect location for us, we stayed 3 nights in top floor street view room although the en suite was compact it was functional and along with the room spotlessly clean. Decent size room fridge and fresh milk on request and lovely biscuits!! Pre booked breakfast was also very good overall nothing but positive comments from us. Oh yeah we would stay here again next time we come up and visit friends. Thanks Rez

A warm welcome from our friendly host Rez to his spotlessly clean, modern and comfortable guest house. Attention to detail is immaculate and some extra touches like chocolates, water , even a fridge in the room. Breakfast delicious and highly recommended. Would not stay anywhere else in this area.
