Fairway Lodge Motel

As a comfortable place to break our journey up the coast this was perfect. Clean and tidy, with great service we will come again. Beds were comfortable, tea, coffee and a few biscuits. A toaster so you can make your own breaky. We went across the road in the morning to the golf club Cafe which was very handy.

The motel is a bit older, but in good condition, reasonably priced, and comfortable with both air conditioning and a ceiling-mounted fan. It also has a decent fridge, microwave, and toaster, etc. I also really liked that the room came with its own covered carport. It is a couple of kilometers from the centre of of town, but as it caters predominantly for travellers (with their own transport), this is not really an issue. For those heading north (i.e. towards Coffs Harbour, Brisbane. etc.), it is only about a kilometre from the entrance to the M1 north (i.e. you don't have to go all the way through Kempsey and out the other side before getting back on the highway).

Great overnight stay in an older but immacuately clean hotel room. Comfortable beds, good fan and aircon, TV and free wifi. All that we needed for a stop on the way through. Good dinner at the nearby RSL at the hotel manager's recommendation.

Great place to stay, wonderful country hospitality from the lovely owners. The rooms are clean, comfy beds, with plenty of space The kangaroos out the back at dusk and dawn would be a treat for any family Convenient location for day trips to all the beautiful beaches 30min drive away, being just out of town the motel is quiet, with gorgeous bush settings but close enough to duck into town for supplies and dinner. Rooms also have microwave, toaster, kettle and there are bbqs outside with all the gear. Brilliant place

Great stopover between GC and Sydney. Clean and comfortable. Check-in staff were very helpful with our late check-in. Gardens are well maintained and the BBQ area is a bonus - you could easily organise your own dinner here. Decent in-room kitchen facilities (microwave, toaster, cutlery etc).

Very clean and newly refurbished. Spacious with everything you need for a stop over. Friendly and easy check in. Heating was welcome on a cold night. My image of grotty motels has been shattered by this well cared for gem.
