Spark by Hilton Branson Meadows

We stayed at the Barrington for two nights. One night was a Thursday, so we got to have complimentary cookies and ice cream in the evening! The pool was decent enough, but fairly small for as many people as there were using it. The hot tub was closed the first day we were there for maintenance, but was turned back on the second day. The hot/cold breakfast was sufficient, although nothing to brag about. Our room was clean. Beds were just regular spring mattresses and pretty uncomfortable. The A/C in the room didn’t have a fan option, so it turned on and off all night (rather than being able to keep it running constantly for white noise, which my family loves). The curtains were very worn with holes (see photo) which allowed lots of light in the room. Overall, our stay was pleasant and the price was acceptable for our visit.

I have been to about 5 hotels in Branson Missouri. None of them are close to the quality for the price. Amanda and the hotel staff were comforting; the atmosphere is hometown meets elegance. Being a northeasterner, I enjoyed the hometown hospitality along with the classiness that I grew up in.

We stayed here in June. The room is very big, Lots of room. We got the room with a jacuzzi. So nice to relax after a long day of fun and shopping. Great breakfast with a lot of choices, hot food. Very nice comfy bed. We will stay again probably next year.

Our room was supposed to be ready at 4, didn't get checked in till 5 because they had ONE staff checking in a line of people. The room was VERY DIRTY! The cleaning crew must have forgot to clean our room. There was black sticky stuff on the side of the bed and floor (pics below), little papers by the table, bathroom was filthy and the tv worked like crap. The manager said she would send the cleaning crew back and had me send her the pictures of the room but The cleaning crew never showed up. Oh and we also ran out of toilet paper because they never brought any when they were supposed to clean The next day. Manager is very rude, short staffed all around! The only thing nice was the breakfast,hot tub and pool.

We have stayed here for the past three years when visiting Branson. We go abt twice a year. Our rooms have always been clean and the staff are always friendly and professional. The breakfast is good as well!

This hotel was the level of a Motel 6! First off I want to say the reason our stay was poor was not because of the staff. Lacey, the desk clerk was amazing and did everything she could to help us during our stay as well as the house keeping manager and the maintenance man. The rooms were horrible, and run down. The paint was falling off the walls in the bathroom and there were holes in the wall with toilet paper stuck in them. If you walk barefoot in the room your feet will be black from the soiled carpet. The ac in both the rooms we had stopped working in the middle of the night and the maintenance man explained that when it's cold outside the ac are controlled by a heat pump and will stop blowing cold. We had a sick child the first night and needed the rooms change and clean the next day and house keeping came in and did that but they put a machine in our room to clear out the smell of vomit bc they couldn't get to the shampoo machine to clean the vomit off the floor. The machine put off an awful odor. They told us to stay out for 10 mins and after they removed it we had to sit in the hallway for over an hour bc the smell would itch our throats and make us cough. Needless to say this was a miserable stay and a waste of $600. We will not be staying here again.

Our room was clean. However, the room was dated, furnishings need updating. Checking in was delayed as the staff at the desk did not seem to be organized. The lobby and dining area were cluttered and needed attention. However, as a family group of women, we felt safe and the location was very convenient.

Our king room was clean, pretty spacious, and the bed and pillows were comfortable. The complimentary breakfast was average, but still tasted good and the lady manning the breakfast area was so sweet and helpful. A major drawback and reason for the 3 star review was that the lady who checked us in was NOT very friendly nor helpful. She never smiled once or welcomed us in. Needless to say, it left us with a poor impression on the front desk staff.

We showed up without a reservation, and Cheryl at the front desk was working. She found us a room that was in a quiet area, and also found us a discount on the rates. Cheryl went out of her way to make us feel like old time guests, and the room was great, clean, quiet, and comfortable.
