Lovely building. Comfortable bed. Cobwebs in bathroom in corners of the ceiling.

The hotel in general was okay, the health club was good, however it was not included in the price of the stay and an additional cost of £10 was charged for the use of this on arrival, this would have been good to know

This venue is excellent for meeting up with friends and family. The atmosphere and service given is first class. Thank you.

A lovely hotel. I feel that the swimming pool and gym should be included in the price like all other hotels I’ve stayed.

Nice hotel with friendly staff. Lovely peaceful location. Amenities were limited unless you pay extra which is a shame. Breakfast also has extra charges for certain food

The staff were especially welcoming and friendly when we arrived for a wedding.

We arrived early evening, pulling up to this amazing castle all lit up with festive Christmas lights it certainly gave the wow factor very nice indeed. We did feel underdressed walking into the castle, a wedding reception was taking place, everyone looked posh and somewhat happy shall we say 😊 The hotel is slightly confusing to get around it was like a maze to get to your room even with the lift, but once you work the layout its fine. The room was amazing, exceptionally clean and tidy with everything you need it was lovely. The only downfall from the whole experience of our stay, was the shower it was running cold water which for any guest first thing in the morning is not good.

Good spa staff not very helpful at all

Spacious room in main building. Clean and good bed. Room needs revamp,very dated and needs a redecoration. Service at reception and restaurant OK. Evening meal and breakfast good. Health Club good.

This was our second time at the castle i was a little but disappointed at the room carpet. We stopped in number 4. We also got told drinks would stop serving at 5 wich at 20 to 5 i went to order drinks then to be told they wasnt serving i explained what i had been told i went to reception she was helpful they said they was short staffed wich i understand this these thibgs happen but there was nobody at the age of 18 to serve alcohol. But overall it was good i just hope when i have my wedding here it will go ok

Hotel rooms are in need of a refresh, I can’t say I would go back.. shower just ran hot, bed mattress felt like it was over 20 years old, iron didn’t work in the room. Externally hotel looks amazing and the food quality was great.
