Hotel Marabout - Families and Couples Only

It is a nice hotel located very close to the center of the city and the historic Medina so each evening you can walk around and explore. Wear and the need for renovation was noticeable. Food is various and lavish, mostly local and spiced but amazingly tasteful. What is not good is that the restaurant is very crowded and you get a feeling that guests are fighting for food. Drinks are local and alcohol is served but we were allowed to take only 2 drinks a time and we were 3 persons. The staff is very polite and helpful. Rooms are cleaned daily but the towels are changed every few days. Animation is great for both adults and kids with shows and mini disco. What a traveler should be aware of is the overall cleanliness. But this should be expected in this part of the world and not to bother with it.

Nice place for vacation with family or friends, old photos on TripAdvisor. Also bad reception, can't quickly solve the our problems. Sometimes is dirty. But also really cool evening program. And also cool animators. I like the food also it's very good ... All the staff so friendly As for us we must say many thanks for Mouna the best animator and the best guest relations you make good job

I like all the staf here very friendlly they make good job i was like soo much my room every day cleen i like soo much the food But you should have more sunbad's because it's difficlt to fiend place Animation team you are great soo funy very friendly special mouna you are the best we love you QUEEN marabout im very happy

It's good hotel ... i like the food it's nice everything cleen the best of this holiday the beach nice place ... i don't like domestic peopel they don't respect another tourist really it's soo bad .. you don't have sunbad's please make more we don't have place after 8h at morning ... good staf all the staf in this hotel soo friendly .. animation team you are the best special mouna the moon of this hotel we love the best ...

Got to the hotel late at night. Had our bags taken up for us. The workers of the hotel was so accommodating and understanding. We moved rooms three times due to my mum being disabled so the got her a disable friendly room. We couldn’t find food we liked but spoke to the chef and they made food especially for us. The entertainment team where amazing and friendly at all times, always trying to include everyone! The beach was just outside and a ***** of restaurants and shops just outside. All round not a bad place to be! Going back in September!

I would like to thank the Marrabout hotel sousse team for their guest service and their warm welcoming . I really appreciated my recent stay with them ,everything went smoothly . The rooms were spacious and upstanding,the food was appetizing and delightful. I'm grateful to Mr.kamel driss the general manager of the hotel,he is a trustworthy person that assist us their our requests ,the service exceeds the needs of all the group and the experience persuade us for more upcoming visits.

I think this was one of the best weeks in year 2023. I was here with my mom and we were absolutely satisfied there. When we arrived at the hotel they checked us in very quickly. For an extra charge we got a very nice clean room with a view of the sea. The food was delicious although almost the same every day. The animations were interesting every day and evening, except for the children´s evening program which was always the same. The beach was clean, there was no garbage, they was only see**** washed up from the sea. The sea was warm with a gradual enty. The staff and animators had a lot of work, but they always served or gave advice with a smile. The pool program was also different. In addition to the pool and the sea, you can play volleyball. I recommend this hotel out of ten and I will definitely return there in 2024.

We had a great time here the rooms clean and spacious staff were friendly and would do anything for you. The kids loved the pools and slides and the beach was amazing the only downside to this hotel was the resterant there wasn’t enough selection and nothing but pizza for the kids food kept running out but this was the only problem we had.

Yes it was a 3* rating but thought it would be better than what we got... disappointed. With a few tweaks it could be a lovely hotel. I booked with Love Holidays. Was flying from Manchester to Ethida. It was a TUI flight. No probs there. So going out was fine. Had assistance which was great. We asked for a disabled room as my mobility is not great. Wanted the walk in shower the most. If not then a room near lift. Got to hotel. No disabled room. And room from the lift was about 4 rooms from the other end of hotel. Room was nice . Clean fresh. So ok thought maybe they couldn't accommodate my requests. Excepted that. Then next morning it was breakfast...No bread except crusty rolls or baguette . No toaster no bread. No other eggs but boiled. No bacon...no beans. Upset to say the least. Huge queues for coffee...juice. huge table of sweet cakes. Ok pool time. No way for me as a disabled person to get in. Steps but no rail. And the rant goes on We were all inclusive. 3 adults 3 kids. No free crisps or ice lollies. No kids meals either. Same food everyday. Some not warm . Fruit selection was pears, melon or grapes. No other deserts but sweet cake...every day...Ice-cream 1-2 times in the whole holiday... No cold drinks all warm in a 2 mouthful paper cup. Except paying customers got tall glasses of cold drink....Entertainment was good the Animation team are fantastic. Beach beautiful.
