Hotel Bristol

We had a wonderful time at The Bristol, every year it gets better & better, and here are the reasons why…. 1) The Staff in all departments are so joyful and attentive, giving exceptional service with warmth and kindness. We thank you all. 2) The Bristol, it has a unique old school charm and quality, rarely found these days. The marble staircases and tiled walkways with fresh flowers at every turn, makes it a delight. 3) The Views, are undoubtedly the most stunning, giving a panoramic view of the Bay of Naples, her Volcano and Sorrento. 4) The Food. The quality, choice and presentation of our meals were perfection. The chefs create, local & Mediterranean dishes that are delicious. 5) The Housekeeping. The rooms & communal walkways etc are spotless. The staff work tirelessly to keep it looking fresh and pristine. 6) The Wines. Try the local wines grown in and around Vesuvius, they are mainly unknown, but a treat! Falaghina, Greco de tufo, Aglianico & Latima Christi. Thanks to all that made our Birthdays so enjoyable & memorable, including Luca & his team, the chefs & receptionist & Guiseppe ( pool bar king). Here are a few pictures from our stay.

We recently stayed here and can totally recommend this hotel. We had a room on the 8th floor with a balcony and the views of the sea, Sorrento town & Mount Vesuvius were absolutely amazing. The hotel is a really pleasant walk into Sorento town where it is very easy to get a boat trip, bus or train to all the local attractions. All of the above was a complete bonus to us as my main reason for choosing this hotel was for the reviews on how Celiac friendly it was. Again, this did not disappoint. On arrival, the Maitre De Luca introduced himself and pointed out everything on the menu that was GF or could be adapted - which was a brilliant choice and I never felt that I was missing out. I was offered bread at every meal- which he explained was toasted in a separate area of the kitchen- & their understanding of cross contamination reassured me at every meal. Luca and his team were so attentive and caring - I never felt a burden & I ate very, very well ( I am now on a diet!) The food was delicious from the the fresh omelettes at breakfast to the 3 course evening meals where I enjoyed various pasta dishes, gnocchi, risottos & lots of different fish and meat dishes along with profiteroles and a lovely lemon sponge dessert - which makes a nice change from fruit salad! The views from the restaurant, combined with the friendly, helpful and attentive staff made every evening a wonderful experience and I really hope to return to this beautiful hotel again soon. I would 100% recommend the Hotel Bristol to anyone wanting a luxurious Sorrento holiday in a great location.

What can I say about the Hotel Bristol? It is by far the most friendly, welcoming hotel I have ever stayed in. The rooms are clean, comfortable and the view out over the Bay of Naples towards Vesuvius is stunning. The road noise below is cancelled out with the shutters closed at night and pales into insignificance when you are looking over the rooftops of Sorrento and beyond. We stayed with our family including our 6 month old granddaughter and the welcome we were given alongside the excellent customer service was beyond our expectations. I cannot rate the staff highly enough including Federico and the very professional people on reception and the wonderful Luca and his fabulous restaurant staff. We all agree that we would love to return to the Hotel Bristol and cannot rate it highly enough.

The hotel is like stepping back in time! The staff are so lovely! The food was incredible every night and the cocktails are to die for. The room was perfectly clean and the views are great. The pool area and gardens are very well maintained. Only a short walk to a shop, and just a little further is the town. I can’t wait to return to this hotel!

Wow ...it is the right word to describe this hotel. I was there for the second time , together with a group of friends and we were , again, impressed by the great hospitality of this place. Giancarlo , the owner, personally welcomed us in his hotel and the rest of the staff was absolutely great!!! The receptionists , the waiters, the bartender, the room keeper (Olga from Moldova) , everybody make you feel like home. About the rooms there are not enough words to describe the views from the balcony. Amazing....Also breakfast is great and we had dinner fee times in the restaurant, also delicious food. Everything is fantastic. One of the best hotel in the world !!! Believe me , I am a travel manager and I would not say lies. Just go there to see everything with your own eyes. Thank you Bristol for everything!!

Once again another fantastic stay at the amazing Hotel Bristol. We’ve just returned from our 11 nights stay at this amazing hotel which will be my 46th return visit. The hotel staff are absolutely amazing and can’t do enough for you. The hotel is always spotless and the rooms are cleaned on a daily basis to the highest standard. Breakfast is one of my favourite meals with so much choice of both continental pastries, meats and cheese and English breakfast. The head chef is also there every morning to cook you any style egg of your choice. I personally recommend the omelettes which are amazing!! The pool on the 7th floor is kept to a high standard with plenty of comfy sun beds and stunning views overlooking the bay of Naples. Lunch on the terrace is a must or even my favourite Insalata Di Tonno at the pool bar which is also a good chance for a cool down before the afternoon sun. The restaurant in the evenings is well managed by maitre’d Luca and his team. The food is to a high standard with plenty of choice for all appetites including a variety of pasta and risotto dishes every night which is the passion of head chef Giovanni. The hotel itself has probably one of the best views of all the hotels in Sorrento and sitting at the bar every night is hard to get away from and leave. It’s only a short 15 minute walk into town so easy if you want to go out and there’s a Conad Supermarket just 5 minutes down the road if you want to pop out for anything. What more can I say but we wouldn’t stay anywhere else in Sorrento now and we can’t wait to come back next year!! Thank you for making our stay as amazing as always. Grazie mille per tutti ❤️
