Villa La Contessina Sorrento

Location: steps from dozens of restaurants and even more shopping. Morning coffee is right around the corner! Catch a boat in the marina just below the villa. Interior: Classy interior with plenty of living space. Four bedrooms upstairs and a private apartment across the courtyard. The kitchen is great and so are the living and dining room areas. This is my favorite home that we’ve ever rented, anywhere. Don’t overlook this gem. Exterior: The villa is nestled on a rather large piece of property that is completely private to the bustling city. The landscaping is that of a high-end resort. There is a privacy fence/gate that requires a key to enter. There are three types of fruit trees in your private courtyard. The outdoor living area is so dreamy that we hardly ever went inside (although the inside is wonderful as well!!) Your host: Anastasia is like family and she will treat you as such. She helped us book excursions, dinners, a birthday and even fed us upon our arrival! We miss her already!! If you stay anywhere else, you will be missing out. Trust me when I say you will have no regrets staying here.

My family has rented villas along the Amalfi Coast for a number of years. We are very familiar with driving, parking and the traffic. This year we decided to rent a Villa that would allow us to walk to restaurants, shops and cultural events. We found the perfect place in Villa La Contessina in Sorrento! The location also made day trips to Naples, Pompeii, Capri and the entire Amalfi Coast easy to arrange. The owner was most helpful, the property was immaculate, and the staff was very accommodating. It was a wonderful summer in Italy!

We could not have been more pleased by the accommodations and many little hospitable touches provided by Anastasia of Villa La Contessina in Sorrento. I almost don't want to share how wonderful the villa was for our 8 guests/family members because I'm afraid it will get overbooked! :-) But honestly, it was impeccably decorated, clean, well-stocked and just a lovely place to be. The bedrooms are a great size and all have their own spacious bathrooms. The additional entry ways into bedrooms and deck space was unexpected. And you can't beat the location. We wanted to be able to walk everywhere and we did. This reviewer is very picky - and it was just outstanding in every way. The pictures online do not do it justice. We will be back!

Our stay at Villa La Contessina was excellent. The villa location is perfect and the accomodations were wonderful. Anastasia, (Villa owner) was very helpful and provided a great welcoming buffet upon our arrival. If traveling with a family or friends I can't imagine staying anywhere else. We will certainly return to Villa La Contessina on our next trip to the Amalfi Coast.
