Hotel Satria Wisata

During road trips you just can't avoid those 1-night-stopovers where you never really know how much time you get to spend at the hotel before moving on. In Pare Pare we picked the Satri Wisata for several reasons: it offers nice rooms at reasonable prices, it has a pool and an own restaurant with a nice seaview. In the end, we were lucky to arrive before dark, so we had some time to freshen up in the pool, before having a good dinner in the restaurant. The room was nice and had a great view towards the bay and breakfast was a lot more than expected - with on-demand eggs, several local hot dishes and a big choice of pastry. Staff was nice and helpful, but we did not have to interact a lot as everything worked out very smoothly. Definitely recommended for a short stay, we did not have the chance to explore the city or the nearby area, but we did get out of town without much traffic, which is also a plus.
