October holiday which was very last minute. The hotel is huge and am not sure I would want to be here in the high summer months. I can imagine it would be very, very busy. However, for my visit half of the hotel, one block, had been closed and the number of visitors low due to being at the end of season. Rooms are a bit dated but kept clean. Poolside clean and tidy and sun-beds comfortable. Lifeguards on duty. Appears to have a lot of activities available for children so they would be occupied but most was closed up during my visit, again due to it being end of season. Beach easily accessible via gate on back wall (use your room key) and plenty of areas to walk if you’re inclined. Plenty of choice at breakfast, and supermarkets/restaurants very close by if you are only B&B like me. Bus stop close by if you wish to discover the island further afield. Really liked Son Bou as it was so quiet at this time of year but still warm enough for a bit of sunbathing.

Swift check in despite being busy with new arrivals. Rooms was old and tired with door frames cracked and a general feeling of being ready for refurb. Shared areas fine, we had breakfast and dinner which were good. Would suggest a good resort for families that f you are lucky and get a fresher room. As a couple we would not return.

I had a wonderful solo holiday at this hotel. I was greeted by very kind and helpful reception staff who kindly allowed me to check in early as my room was ready. The room was very basic and outdated however it was clean and had all the necessities including shower gel and shampoo. The balcony was well sized and although I did not have a sea view I still had a nice view of villas/shops and hills. The food was lovely and of high quality with a good selection each day. A good selection of drinks/cocktails was available on the all inclusive. I appreciated the token system which meant that there were no plastic cups/rubbish lying around the pool area which you so often get at hotels, and the reusable cups were a much better option for the environment. The bar staff were very efficient however only having one bar for the downstairs/pool area meant that often had to queue in the evenings. I feel that they would benefit from more bar staff in the evenings. This could also be said for the restaurant which would get extremely busy in the evenings. Sometimes I would not be approached for a drinks order or I had to sit at a dirty table that was not cleared until I asked. The pool area was lovely and clean with nice relaxing music playing and plenty of sun beds available. There was very easy access to the beach through a gate and the beach itself was beautiful. The evening entertainment was brilliant, I saw a magic show, a jazz band, and a circus act, all of which were of high quality. There were a small amount of shops and restaurants in the area around the hotel, however if you are wanting somewhere a bit more lively then i recommend getting the bus into Mahon. This was very easy to do and didn’t cost me much, however make sure you have cash as they do not accept card on the bus. I thoroughly enjoyed my time at this hotel and would recommend it to anyone.

I stayed here for 3 nights with my adult daughters. They upgraded us without us asking, so that we could have rooms next door to each other. The rooms were spot on - large and clean. The location was superb - right by the beach, and everyone had a balcony with a sea view. The buffet was wonderful. The icing on the cake were the dedicated, cheeful staff. They never seemed to stop working or smiling. The quiz was great fun and all nationalities could join in. Great for families too. The whole hotel felt spacious and there was plenty to do with good buses and taxis. Highly recommend a boat trip.

First of all the positives which out rule the negatives....Hotel spotlessly clean as soon as you walk through the doors your welcomed by a lovely reception area we had no problems with the lifts as some reviews have stated ,Our room was clean and comfortable everything we needed even though it was a little dated the sea view from our balcony was amazing also lovely walks around the area .Good size pool but a little cold this time of year the loungers were about the best I have layed on nice and new ,token system for drinks cups is a good idea didn't find the plastic beakers a problem at all .....Negatives (sorry to say ) We wasn't very impressed with the food not a very good selection or quality and could be warmer but there was a microwave to heat it up but personally don't like to use them . Not a good selection of desserts either but loved the salad we didn't go hungry always found something to eat .
