Nuthurst Grange Country House Hotel & Restaurant

We use this hotel for our team meetings and get togethers. I can safely say the team love this hotel. The hotel rooms and views are stunning. Staff super helpful. Nothing too much trouble. Food delicious. Conference rooms lovely. We will definitely be coming back.

My now Husband and I had our wedding reception at Nuthurst Grange on 30 August 2024 and we couldn’t be more thankful for their exceptional service provided. Magda was our wedding coordinator leading up to the wedding; Magda was friendly, professional and extremely accommodating. She was also very easy to make contact with. On the day of the wedding, the staff were brilliant, the venue was spotless and the food was fantastic (we had the BBQ). Whilst all the staff were great, Grant (and another senior female colleague) in particular made the day run smoothly and were always on hand to support and keep things moving. Grant even came over to put a fresh glass of Prosecco in my hand during the speeches when mine was empty! It’s these small touches and attention to detail that made all the difference. Thank you so much to all the staff at NG - we’ll definitely be back for a night stay/meal in the future.

Attended a family wedding which was held in the Stables part of the venue. It was secluded, private & very welcoming. The area was spacious, aesthetically excellent, multiple seating areas, indoors & out with a well stocked bar. The staff worked hard & kept all tables clean & glass free. The dance floor area was good, as were the band & the guests all enjoyed it. It is a lovely setting, very picturesque & is an excellent wedding venue.

My visit to Nuthurst Grange we visited for a drink & sandwiches one lunchtime I ordered a cheese & chutney sandwich on granary bread it was very disappointing the bread was very ordinary and cut into four with a piece of lettuce with a bit of dressing & cost £10-50 I have had better sandwiches for less money I would have expected better bread & a nice bit of salad & maybe a few crisps for the price we have had Sunday Lunch here & liked it & love the place but they need to make a better sandwich.

My wife and I had a very pleasant night at Nuthurst before a matinee in Birmingham the next day. We stayed in a four poster room that was well-appointed and very comfortable. The food was absolutely top drawer. Literally the best steak I've ever had! Every course was delicious and the dinner service was excellent. We had a very enjoyable breakfast before checking out the next day. Highly recommended.

My daughter and her now husband chose Nuthurst Grange to host an after wedding family meal for 17 people. We hired the Earlswood suite and have to say we couldn't fault the place. The staff were very attentive and accommodating, the food was fantastic and we didn't feel at all rushed to leave after our booked time. I wouldn't hesitate in recommending this hotel.

An excellent afternoon tea with friends for a special birthday. A first time visit for all of us but not the last. Lovely location, friendly and helpful staff and delicious food. We will be back both to have another afternoon tea and to try a dinner in the evening.

I want to thank the wonderful thoughtful staff at the Nuthurst Grange for a recent celebration of life event held at the hotel, in the stables. Firstly upon contacting them I dealt with Magda who reserved the date and booked us in for a viewing twice. it was no problem at all to Magda, she was very kind and gracious. Once booked, we then dealt with Kelly to discuss all of the arrangements and she too helped us with a seamless booking. When it came to the evening before, I wanted to set up a powerpoint presentation, dress tables, at this point Grant and Orsche were our port of call. Wow they could not do enough then and on the day they were kind , helpful there whenever needed throughout the entire day and evening!! Orsche was very thoughtful and caring, asking if we were okay, and Grant even plated food up for my husband and I noting that we did not have tIme to go and eat! They provided an absolutely seamless and coordinated celebration of life for us and we are extremely grateful to all staff there. The hotel is in a beautiful setting and the food was amazing !! i cannot fault the hotel or the staff especially grant and Orsche!! Thank you and we will be sure to book again if you will have us as I think we did outstay our welcome!! love Rachael and John McGarry

Sunday lunch was dreadful. I used to love this restaurant, their food used to be excellent. The meat was overcooked and tasteless, and the accompanying veg and potatoes were also tasteless, including the weak garvy. I think because they are trying to cater for everyone e.g. Vegans, Gluton Free, dairy free and are ending up satisfying no one. The starters were bland and non descript. We had Cheese for pudding, best bit of the meal. I wouldn’t bother going if you like a traditional Sunday Lunch. To be fair, they did reimbuse my main meal and pudding but that didn’t make up for my disappointment and a spoilt dining experience. I won’t be returning.
