Etéreo, Auberge Resorts Collection

Just came back from a friends trip at Etereo and it was incredible. The hotel, service, food, property, activities - everything all around did not disappoint at all. The hotel was only at 30% capacity in the days we were there but we didn't mind at all. If you are looking for a relaxing hotel to disconnect, dabble in some self care and wellness, this is the place for you. If you want more of a party or even a nightlife or bar scene, this is not your hotel. Spa: The overall experience was the best we have had anywhere else. The scrub, steam, and cold and hot plunges were amazing. The massage and treatents were what you would expect from an Auberge. Rooms: Spacious and immaculate with incredible views of the ocean and mangroves. Food: absolutely delicious. The food and beverage team are extremely conscious of the brand position of the hotel and it carries through the menu's, service at the restaurant and quality of the food. Wellness: start each day with the morning intention setting - it was truly magical and and really put our minds and energy in the right place for this vacation. Beach: sand is so soft and the chair and lounger set ups are comfortable. We had lunch one day at the beach restaurant it was delicious. Our group was 5 women and we had an incredible stay and would come back anytime with our husbands or with friends again.

Incredible Hotel!!! Oscar at Itzam was an amazing waiter and he made our experience so special - could not recommend more highly - Roxana is your go to for any event needs and made our stay and event planning seamless and stress free, and the staff here is unparalleled. They really are some of the kindest people I've ever met! We can't wait to come back!

We visited in June 2023 and had a great visit. We were on a family trip with our two kiddos. We loved all of the unique touches throughout our stay, such as the coffee cart in the morning and the nightly gifts for the kids left in the room from our Concierge. It was a bit quiet for our kids, would love to go back for an adults trip. The kids club did wonderful with our kids but seemed as though most visitors wanted a zen environment, which I do appreciate when we are kid-free.

Property was absolutely stunning, and the service was top-notch. Each experience was thoughtfully curated—from the amazing cooking class, spiritual spa experience, fun scuba excursion. It was the perfect anniversary / birthday trip for my husband and me. All in all, as someone who loves exploring new places, this was a total home run, and I’m already considering a return visit. Highly recommend!"

Despite the rain during our entire stay, we had a WONDERFUL experience! The property was immaculate, our room was amazing, and every staff member we encountered was friendly and helpful. We especially loved our time at the spa and would like to give a special shoutout to Venay (I hope I'm spelling that correctly), who guided us through all of our Cleanse sessions and gave an exceptional massage to Katie Bitney. The Cleanse itself was a huge highlight of our stay – such an amazing experience and incredible value! We also thoroughly enjoyed the morning and evening Copal Cleanses and intention-setting sessions. Both Mayan healers, Jared and the other women (whose name escapes me), were truly wonderful. It was lovely to see them around the property throughout the day and have the chance to talk and learn from them. The daily schedule of activities was another highlight of our stay specifically the sound bath. We loved having a variety of options to choose from each day, which allowed us to fully engage with the property and its offerings. One of the small but delightful aspects of our stay was the thoughtful touches during the nightly turn-down service – the crystals, honey, incense, and other surprises were such lovely additions that made our stay even more special. I do have a couple of small suggestions. First, I don’t think your website quite captures just how beautiful and exceptional the property truly is – it offers so much more than what’s shown online. Overall, we had an unforgettable stay and are already looking forward to our next visit. Thank you for everything!

My husband and I visited this resort for a short 5 day getaway without the kiddos. It did not dissapoint. The staff is incredibly attentive and caring. The resort is modern, fresh and simply breathtaking. The FOOD -- top tier. We are travelers that enjoy experiencing new cultures and cuisines and rarely visit the same restaurant twice. The lunch /pool side restaurant Che Che was incredible. Fresh fish, sushi, and the fusion of asian + mexican cuisine executed with perfection. If you are looking for luxury, surrounded by nature and a staff that makes you feel welcome - this is the place to be. They even went the extra mile and sent us surprise champagne and chocolates for my birthday and our wedding anniversary (that we only mentioned briefly we were there to celebrate for!). Extra touches really send this place over the top. We will be back!!! Thank you for such a lovely experience, we will never forget it.
