Sport Hotel Village

Excellent stay at the Sport Village. Ideal location by gondola and chair lift, and 2 minutes from ski lockers and ski hire shop. Staff were very helpful and friendly especially Juan on the bar, who was always cheerful, incredibly attentive and observant and all round a perfect hotel employee. Beds were comfortable, Molton Brown toiletries were replenished daily and there was a good variety of food.

Lovely hotel, lovely rooms, lovely food, very close to gondola and ski hire. The only issue was that we ordered a vegetarian picnic for the homeward journey and it didn't materialise. We were told to let reception know any dietary requirements, so I gave them a sheet with room number, name and a request for vegetarian food.

Good Hotel, really good food and great location. Rooms are really comfortable apart from the heat. They are very hot and there doesn’t seem to be an easy way to cook them down except leaving the patio door open. We had a Mountain View room with a great view over the pistes. Food was very very good. I am pescatarian and gluten free but there were lots of quality options for me. It was excellent. Staff are lovely, really helpful and friendly. Bar prices let the hotel down 17 euros for a rum and coke. It’s a real shame because we would have spent more time in the hotel. Overall a great hotel in good position and lovely staff but avoid the bar

We had a great stay here for our week of skiing in Andorra. Hotel was clean, warm and comfortable with fantastic friendly and helpful staff. The rooms are a good size with very comfortable beds and we were really impressed with the quality and choice of food at the buffet. What really makes it stand out is the convenience. The gondola up to the slopes is only a few minutes away and the hotel has lockers right next to the gondola station so you can store your boots and skis really quickly at the end of the day. The only gripe we had was the price of drinks at the hotel - a G&T starts at €17….and can be a lot more pricey (€23+) if you inadvertently select a more pricey brand! However, all in all, we really enjoyed our stay and are planning on coming back again next year!

Stayed here between Christmas and new year 2022, first impressions the hotel offered excellent accommodation the staff were friendly and most accommodating in particular the reception and dining staff. The hotel is in probably in the best location in Soldeu for the quickest and easiest access to the slopes as the gondola is built into the hotel complex and there is lift access down to the bottom of the slopes with a walkable distance to a chair lift which drops you off at the same location as the gondola but without the queues, the hotel also offers free locker rooms for ski equipment and the ski hire shop is also in the same complex building, the room I had comprised of a split level with a double bed on the ground floor and two beds on the upper floor connected with a internal staircase the rooms were serviced every day. the room was on the front of the hotel with balcony nothing spectacular to look at,the rooms on the rear however overlooks the mountain and ski slopes. The food was buffet style and plenty full absolutely no complaints, there were 10 of us and the dining staff were extremely accommodating. The hotel is log cabin in style throughout which was quirky and had a homely vibe,only criticism was there insistence to allow two fire pits to smoulder throughout the evening and night which served no purpose,directly outside the main entrance, other than to fill the hotel and in particular my room with smoke I did raise this with the staff and hopefully they will do something about this for future guests, overall despite the Smokey issues I would recommend the Sports village hotel.

The hotel’s location is fabulous with cable cars just around the corner and ski slopes visible from the rooms. We had a few small issues with the hotel housekeeping, however when we mentioned them to reception manager they got resolved and we received adequate compensation. What is more, the design of the hotel itself is gorgeous and food in the restaurant amazing. Although it is worth to mention that there are not many options available for vegetarians.
