Breza Hotel

We expected low but it was below expectations. They messed up the reservations, gave us the wrong room, unfriendly, unpolite staff. Rooms are very small, old, they smell VERY bad (mold, ciggarettes, and sewerage). Dirty towels with holes in them, dirty sheets, blood stained mattresses. House keeping is inexistent. Very poor wi-fi. The tripple room and suite are a joke, basically they add a mattress in a double room. Restaurant is acceptable but breakfast is really really poor and the same low quality every day. Location is good, not too far from the slopes. Sincerely do not recommend.

Great service, ideal location, the restaurant in the hotel is amazing! Would recommend it for business trip or vacation with kids!

Worst experience ever. This place can hardly be called a hotel. A cabin lodge at its best. Small, smelly rooms, two adults can hardly fit. If the room door is open, the bathroom door cannot be operated. Two adults cannot fot in the hallway at the same time. The toilet wouldn’t flush properly, so there was a bucket to finish this operation. Mold and poor furniture. Breakfast supposedly running until 10.30. At 10 there was barely anything left. The only plus: they are pet-friendly.

Poor services, small and smelly rooms, terrible food. Don’t care about booking and downpayments, room not guaranteed. Go somewhere else! Definitelly not three stars hotel. Was the worst experience in Borovets. Not coming back.

Seen some negative reviews on here. I’d just say it’s good value. If you’re looking for 4/5star this aint for you. If you’re looking for somewhere comfortable to sleep and are happy to eat basic Bulgarian food. then jump in. Stayed with my 11 year old son, he was happy enough (using his mobile data, the wifi is poor), ate the food without too much fuss. Staff were pleasant and kind. Would stay again. Might forgo the halfboard, and just eat out for dinner. Although for the money it was nice to have the choice.

Worst hotel ever stayed in, I checked out after day 1, and had to spend loads of money to check into the hotel rila as the cleaners stole Iteams out of my bags

We stayed in hotel Breza December 2021. The hotel has a great location to access all lifts for the slopes, shops, bars and restaurants. However we were not made to feel particularly welcome. Very little food left in the evening after 6.30pm and not topped up. However the food when we got done was nice. Breakfast was ok and topped up through the morning. Only a domestic 2 slice toaster available at breakfast which took ages and caused queuing. The hotel it’s self was very well presented and was always clean. Our bedroom was ok and meet our needs, however the bathroom was not really fit for purpose - shower/bath was on a sloped ceiling so if you are 4ft and over you bang your head on the ceiling when getting in the shower and during the shower. The bathroom mirror was so high up it was unusable. Tiling was unfinished and a large hole/gap under the bath. We picked this hotel purely for the location. There were plenty of nice restaurants with friendly service nearby so we eat out most evenings.

The hotel was dated and not in a good state of repair. My room had two small single beds, limited bedding. The bathroom was old and dated and the shower tray leaked. The breakfast choice was small and luke warm, there was a limited choice of drinks. The staff were friendly. Despite paying £88 per night, not the cheapest hotel we looked at booking but only what was available, we had to pay to store our skis in the hotel also! I wouldn’t book here again and the hotel was poor value for money.

The location is great, it was clean. The room was really tiny, and practically without a window, there was not daylight inside at all.
